Everyone had turned into zombies because more than 50% of their flesh remained intact.
Unlike skeletons, zombie apocalypse units regenerate very quickly, whereas skeletons barely regenerate at all. However, zombies have a drawback—after intense battles, they must consume raw meat; otherwise, they become slower and slower. Other than that, they are as relentless as skeletons.
Itai walked up to Flain, patted him on the shoulder, and smirked. "By the way, nice job. That was a really intense fight," he said.
Flain then tore off all his armor. It looked like it would fall apart on its own at any moment. These soldiers had much better armor than the bandits, and the generals had even better gear.
"That already crossed my mind," Flain nodded.
"I won't take gear from these soldiers, just to be safe. If I try to sell it, someone might recognize it and arrest us," Itai muttered.
