Chapter 33 - MHA : Chapter 33 : A Hurt and Tired Spider I

"Oh my god! Parker-Kun, you're okay!" The voice he recognized as being Uraraka reached his ears as he sprinted up the steps toward the entrance.

He was too tired even to be annoyed at the honorific.

After putting Tokoyami on his back, Peter had leaped around the USJ in an attempt to get the boy to relative safety as quickly as possible, all the while making sure not to cause any more pain than he was already feeling.

All in all, being down an arm sucked.

"Yeah, not really! I got stabbed and thrown down several floors, and Tokoyami got shot! We need to set him down!" He said, quickly recounting the past events. The color of the students still at the entrance drained at the sight of the two, but thankfully didn't ask too many questions.

Handing the bird-headed boy to the guy he was sure went by Shoji or something, Peter took a breath as he felt as if he could finally pause and rest for a second after seeing Shoji place him on the ground in a comfortable looking spot while applying pressure to the wound.

He looked down at his injured arm and decided to reapply the first aid he had done. Using a decent amount of strength, he took off the tourniquet and shot a web at the wound to cover it and stop any bleeding.

Using his single web-shooter, he made a sling that hung over his shoulder and carefully placed his arm into it, sighing at the slight relief it brought him.

Good thing that knuckleduster guy taught him how to make a makeshift sling in dire situations. He should give him a call sometimes.

If he got out of this alive, that is.

Or if he ever found out how to contact him. The guy was hard to track.

Was he getting off-topic? Maybe, he should get working while the adrenaline was still pumping!

He took a look over the crowd that stood at the gate, seeing Uraraka, Ashido, Shoji, Sero, Hagakure, and Nejire. His eyes fell over the sitting form of Ashido, who looked to be watching over a severely injured Thirteen, her suit having been somehow destroyed.

He held back a curse at the sight of the hero; he knew he couldn't concentrate on that, not now at least.

He could've sworn he saw Iida and Tamaki still there.

"Where are the rest?" He asked, getting to the point.

Shoji perked up from his position, the taller boy forming a mouth to speak at the end of one of his extra arms. "Iida was able to get past the mist villain and is heading toward UA for help, Amajiki rushed forward to where Togata had been dropped off, and the rest are scattered around the facility." The masked boy told him.

He didn't know either to sigh in relief that Iida was going to get help or groan at Tamaki running off to save Mirio.

It would've been cute if it wasn't so stupid.

God, this was a mess.

You know what? Whatever! Peter thrived when dealing with messes; just don't ask anyone that.

"Damn it! I'm gonna go help where I can, there must be some people still stuck in some zones. You guys just uh, I-I don't know, keep doing what you're doing." With a flick of his good wrist and a tug, he was swinging through the air toward the landslide zone.

The swing would take at least a minute, if his math was correct. He just hoped that whoever was there could hold off for a bit.

A small buzzing sound came from beside him, it felt familiar.

"Hey, hey, Peter!" Nejire greeted, the girl wobbly flying beside him.

"Hey, Nejire." He said back, not giving it a second thought.

Who could be in the landslide zone? He saw Moe, Mirio, and Rumi get warped, but that di-

Wait.

Wait a minute.

"Nejire, what the hell are you doing here?!" He yelled, the fact that his friend was flying next to him finally sinking in.

She only gave a pout that turned to a smile as if nothing was wrong. "You said you were going to help out, so I'm helping you out on helping out!"

Just.

Whatever.

He couldn't tell her to go back to the entrance anyway, and man did he forgot how hard it was to swing with one arm.

"J-Just go to the landslide zone while I go to the ruins; we'll cover more ground." He told her, only getting a mock salute before he started swinging toward the new zone.

He just hoped everyone was okay.

...

Rumi had been kicking the shit outta random villains for, like, what? 3, 5 minutes? She lost count after she sent one guy through a window.

But that doesn't matter; what mattered is that she couldn't get enough of it!

She'd been excited about training, but this? This was just great! After that mist looking warped her to what she assumed was the ruins zone, she just started fighting and didn't ask any questions.

Her ear twitched, footsteps from the hall, six villains. She dropped to a crouch, her every muscle tensed and ready to go, the girl simply waited until the footsteps drew closer to spring forward and crash through the weak wall, dropkicking a guy with a bat mutation in the process.

She internally cringed at the loud crack the impact gave off.

Bouncing off the man with a push of her legs, she landed on an adjacent wall and bounced into an ax kick that hit another villain square in the shoulder, and yep, it was definitely dislocated now.

Well, not her problem she was that awesome!

Some woman wearing a purple visor rushed forward with a battle cry, followed by two guys wearing matching overalls, Rumi jumped up once her feet had touched the ground. She'd been dying to test out this new move.

" Luna Spin! " She spun sideways in the air, her leg held out as the motion hit everything around her, which luckily included the three people rushing at her.

Man, the best testing was on the field!

She dropped to the ground as she caught her breath, the last villain staring her down at the other end of the hall. It was a man with a bear mutation who stood at what must be 200cm.

This was gonna be awesome! This guy might be able to give her more than a bruise or a bloody nose! She wa-

"COMING THROUGH!" Came a familiar voice, along with the sound of breaking glass.

Out of nowhere, Peter crashed through the wall beside the bear man and kicked him straight in the ribs. The bear let out a yell before dropping to the ground in agony.

That bitch! He stole her villain!

"Yikes, I might've hit him too hard… Hey, bear dude? You good?" Peter asked as he recoiled away from the low whimper the man gave off. After a quick apology, he turned his head and looked at her from the end of the hall.

The two stared each other down, before Peter broke the silence.

"Uh, hey! You okay?" He asked, stepping over the couple of unconscious people and standing in front of her.

She looked down at herself; her costume had a couple of cuts on the fabric, and she had some bruises along with a bloody nose, but that was nothing she couldn't fight with.

"Yeah, what the hell happened to you ? You look like shit." She asked him, her crimson eyes going from his arm in a makeshift sling to all the various cuts and bruises that his damaged suit exposed.

"A dude with four arms and drill hands stabbed me, then we crashed through a building, and then I hit him with a fire extinguisher. What happened here?"

"I kicked ass, that's what!" She jabbed a thumb toward her chest in a prideful manner, only making the boy chuckle. "But seriously, what you just said happened to you sounded sick."

"Rumi, I got stabbed, my arm is probably broken, and I am purely running on adrenaline right now. This sucks."

"Eh, don't gotta be a pussy about it! Now, c'mon! Let's go find some more villains to pummel!"

With a groan and a reluctant nod, the two teens simply jumped out of the window Peter came from and started making their way toward the plaza.

But man, Peter getting the shit kicked outta him that badly and still winning? No wonder she liked him so much!

Wait, where'd that come from?

Eh, she'd figure it out later or something. They had shit to do!
