Chapter 2 - back to the beginning

As the German law gave me a "warm welcome" in contrast to the cold blizzard of the humid environment, my mind was flooded with memories. As the only escape within the continuous rain of insults and curses directed at the officer, my thoughts focused on my brother, the main culprit, and on a victim who, from my point of view, was not innocent. His guilt was due to the fact that his actions had been carried out for mere business.

The road blurred in my memory, registering different but similar scenarios. The only difference was that this time I was alone, and the putrid smell of the body being divided in the trunk remained engraved in my nose from that time in Bombay. I had avoided this inconvenience by embalming the trunk first. It is never too late to learn from past mistakes.

For my part, I am sure that I did not want my car to end up in the hands of the law. However, the pain of the blow still resonated in my body. A brutal impact that had made me take a step back and fall to the ground. It speaks highly of the person who had inflicted it. The strength and technique of my attacker was impressive, but it was the police brutality that really took my breath away. Even if it was a cruel joke... no one stopped me from getting up.

Officer... well done. Crouching down and asking the sonorous one. From the height of my head still crouched and feeling the ground.

The keys are necessary if we want to preserve this particular model. He was able to determine the quality of the car just by touching it. American, wow, that shouldn't have cost him much.

After my legs regained their composure between falls I got up.

Indeed. Standing at last on both legs. I replied sarcastically. It's Chinese. We just change the labels and sell it at a higher price. As my clarifications became public...

... officer: your clarifications are strong, boy.

I could feel his partner pointing the gun at me that he silently pulled out of a part of his coat... as I approached the officer, with slow steps.

Officer: I had a desire to know your worth inside, in fact, I think my country pays me to do the aforementioned. But before any misunderstanding you must understand that my manners crown my reputation.

Clearly I won't do it if you don't want me to

Saying those words, the bastard pulled out a pistol from his leg... Almost stuck to his heel.

Well, ?, I expect an answer from you somewhere.

Not a single one, sir, as I remain motionless. I replied.

Well, since your hostile actions are not relevant, I will make a thorough inspection. I hope you don't mind?

I immediately heard the sound of both pistols being released from the safety lock,

Well, if there is no objection, he kicked open the car door, each blow becoming more intense, each blow more redundant than the last. His intention was not only to damage the car. I could tell by the sheer satisfaction of watching the glass begin to draw a transverse line of imperfection, until each piece falls to the floor and it is safe to reach in to open the door from the inside. Should this hurt me? It's just a car... since the door was opened so cautiously and 'gently' so to speak. The officer got into the driver's seat looking inside and seeing several papers all lying on the floor. Among them in a bag were the antidepressants that... They gave them to me at the time I paid for them.

How did you suppose... drugs, the officer shouted.

It's obvious that he was trying to incriminate me in some way. But why?

...

I have the perfect reason to express myself, in the face of your doubts. I have big problems, very severe in fact. I need those depressants well tied to a prescription. In fact I have it in my right pocket, let me.

... The sound of a bullet that was launched with power into the sky. The officer's partner was clear, some movement and the shot. Hiba Asher was imminent, it was fear that he wanted to convey with that action.

Anyway… apparently ignoring all my testimony, he patted me on the back and led me to my vehicle…

. you can get in.

Move the pieces of glass to the back seat, so as not to hurt me…

Officer: You can take a seat.

. I clearly didn't waste the opportunity, I was already tired.

What do you want from me? he asked.

Officer: Well, I see that it's obvious, your suspicions are right if you ask that… I would like not to sound so redundant… But I hope to believe that you already deduced it. Sinful to beat around the bush. Your family is looking for you. It wasn't very easy to find you. But oh well. At least we can say that we won't leave empty-handed.

I always conclude that my conclusions are correct, anyway, I avoided looking to the right to see the passenger seat, and I answered coldly and looking ahead, clearly with more questions than answers.

How much did they pay you? And did you kill stories??

...Mmm: you know, it hurts to think that you think we do everything For money, of course, it is a good for the world. But I would like to ask you something personal, if you could help Leslie Burke cross the creek you wouldn't do it.

Or maybe avoid 911..

Well it's obvious not, both are totally fun events for your family, it's clear that they paid more than 40 billion dollars to bring you alive,.. the big guy out there doesn't pay anything cheap and he really needs the money.. maybe he wants to live like a king for the rest of his life who knows, each one has his personal reasons

And answering the settlement, I suppose about 17,. During our arrival we tried to negotiate for these suits, an agreement that ends in nothing and well, in our car there are two bodies.

Interrupting his narration I made sure to answer him, : I suppose that of the two policemen who were killed..

Taking advantage of those minutes of distraction, I closed the car door and started the damn car at high speed. I pushed hard on my feet to avoid going out the front window and hitting the rearview mirror.

Of course, speeding up resulted in the damn officer hitting his head against the window, leaving a part of his skull stuck in it. Blood was flowing naturally, while his partner tried to shoot from the opening left by the blows in the window. I turned the car sharply, moving the officer's body and returning it to the car. While I was panting as I felt all the damn adrenaline in me.
