AMAYA'S POV
Days had gone by since I returned to the mansion and I have minded my business ever since then. While I did, I heard more rumors. More of the pack members were rooting for Maxim and his mate. The support they both had made me sick. It made me angered that these people pretended to like me and now, because they found their Luna, they discarded me. It was a bottom barrel behavior.
Since my return, my condition seems to have worsened. I always woke up with a fever that had me sweating bullets. My eyes hurt for hours, my joints would always ache and I lacked strength. My due date was close so I knew why my health was deteriorating fast. It was just sad that I was going through this at the worst possible time ever.
