Meanwhile at the pack compound
Mira paced in the consultation room, Susan sat behind her desk watching her. Listening attentively.
"She has been acting off for days. Locked in her room, acting paranoid." Mira said. "Then all of a sudden she comes down happy. Too composed. Like she was pretending."
Susan nodded. "Emotionally and spiritually, something's changed. I think something happened to her while she was unconscious, something she is trying to come in terms with. She can be withdrawing due to trauma or fear."
"That makes sense," Mira murmured. "I can't shake the feeling she's hiding something. Something that has to do with us."
Cael entered, expression confused, . "She is not here either?"
Mira blinked at him. "What?"
"I went to talk to Elisa like you asked. She was not at her place and no one has seen her in the pack house."
Susan frowned. "Have you tried calling her phone?"
"She is not picking up."
