Dante's POV
Dante sat in his new office, watching the city skyline through the large windows. His fingers tapped rhythmically against his desk, on the table his phone laid an opened text message on the screen.
You have stopped sending frequent updates concerning your mission. I heard you moved cities. Are you close to my prize yet?
His father was becoming more insistent nowadays and he said he "heard" that means someone among his team was feeding him information again. The last one has not ended well, his death has been done on purpose to send a message to other spies that may have been hiding. Seems like the message wasn't loud enough.
He needs to find and eradicate them fast. His father must not know about Elisa yet. He needed to come up with a plan to deal with him first.
A phone buzzed. One of his men.
He answered. "Talk."
"Cael just left the pack from the intel, he's going for a meeting with with the council."
Dante's smirk widened.
