Chapter 441 - Chapter 441: Dreamscape

Shen Xing once again inexplicably fell into slumber. Judging from the twisted expression on her face, it was clear her condition was far from good.

The North Sea Legion tried several times to wake her, but all attempts failed.

At that moment, Yali entered from outside, bringing the Leng Yaozhu sisters and Xia Yi with her.

Seeing that Yali had brought both Leng Yulai and Leng Yaozhu, the Legion's commander, Shen Gong, was moved to tears.

Yali truly cared about his two daughters—she had brought not one, but two Limit Douluo, whose spiritual power had already ascended to god-level.

"Your Holiness, the Holy Spirit, Lady Sky Phoenix, Lady Dark Phoenix, Master Xia Yi! I entrust my daughter to you all!" Shen Gong, commander of the North Sea Legion and head of the Shen family, bowed deeply to the group. Although he listed Xia Yi last, that was merely a matter of seniority—his respect for Xia Yi was no less than for the others.

Xia Yi was indeed worthy of inheriting the art of Divine Forging and becoming a Divine Craftsman.

However, not many knew that Zhen Hua had never actually passed the Divine Forging method to Xia Yi, so most people still believed Xia Yi would inevitably become the next Divine Craftsman.

"Don't worry, General Shen. We will do everything we can," Yali nodded, then turned to Leng Yaozhu. "Yaozhu-jie, I leave this to you."

Leng Yaozhu didn't speak. Instead, she turned to look at Xia Yi.

Seeing this, both Yali and Shen Gong were stunned. Could Xia Yi be the key figure in saving Shen Xing?

"I'm curious—what exactly do you all do during your Shrek Academy military training?" Xia Yi gave Yali a look, then turned to the Leng sisters. "Let's go take a look inside her dream."

"Alright!" The Leng sisters nodded and each found a place to sit. Xia Yi sat beside them, then looked up at Yali and Shen Gong.

"Are you two coming as well?" he asked.

"You can enter her dream?" Yali asked, curious.

"I can," Xia Yi nodded.

"Then why not?" Yali and Shen Gong followed the others' lead and found a place to sit.

"In a moment, I'll pull you into the dream. Just cooperate a little," Xia Yi looked at Yali, mainly her. Shen Gong's spiritual power hadn't even broken into the Spirit Domain realm yet, so Xia Yi could pull him in effortlessly.

Whether Shen Gong cooperated or not was just a matter of how much effort Xia Yi needed to expend.

Yali, on the other hand, was in the late stage of the Spirit Domain realm. If she didn't cooperate, even Xia Yi would find it difficult to draw her into the dream.

"Alright," both Yali and Shen Gong nodded.

As Xia Yi's fifth soul ring flashed across his body, all five of them fell into slumber simultaneously.

When they opened their eyes again, they found themselves hovering above the Legion.

Vroooom! A roar echoed from the direction of Devil's Island, as a fighter jet rapidly approached. There were two people aboard: one was Tang Wulin, and the other was an old man with completely white hair and beard—presumably the "Old Demon" Yali had mentioned earlier.

The old man was piloting, while Tang Wulin sat in the co-pilot seat.

With a thought from Xia Yi, the five of them instantly became invisible.

In the fighter, the old demon casually said to Tang Wulin, "Parachute drop. No need for a seatbelt—I'll toss you out directly. After that, you're on your own. You have three days. If you don't steal the plane, I'll release poison gas. Understand?"

"Understood." Tang Wulin, seemingly broken by prolonged torment, lowered his head and obeyed.

Yet, behind that obedience, there was excitement and a flicker of anticipation in his eyes.

Maybe he knew. Maybe he just didn't care.

"Looks like your godson enjoys thrill-seeking," Xia Yi teased Yali.

Inside the dream, nothing could escape his perception.

"Wulin was forced into this," Yali defended quickly.

Xia Yi simply shook his head, not bothering to argue.

As they neared the Legion, the fighter climbed rapidly, reaching several thousand meters altitude—but it was immediately detected by the Legion's radar.

Suddenly, a voice came through the fighter's radio: "This is the North Sea Legion. Lower your altitude immediately or we will open fire."

The old demon wasn't fazed in the slightest. He chuckled, then suddenly executed a barrel roll, diving the aircraft sharply downward.

Tang Wulin, having no seatbelt, nearly flew out but managed to grip the armrest tightly.

"Let go—I'll send you down!"The plane jerked violently again, flipped sideways, and with a mighty tug, Tang Wulin was hurled out like garbage.

High in the air, the sky spinning.

Tang Wulin's first realization was: he had no parachute, and none of his flying-capable companions were present.

Just thrown out like that?

Falling at high speed, the intense gravity pulling at him like a cannonball, he plummeted toward the earth.

Thanks to his past training under the Old Demons, Tang Wulin was no longer dizzy in midair. He quickly oriented himself and calmed down. Strands of Blue Silver Emperor emerged from his body, weaving together above his head into a large net that slowly tightened, forming a makeshift parachute.

"Blue Silver Emperor is useful, heh," he grinned.

But just as his smile emerged, it froze.

Two fighter jets from the Legion had appeared beside him.

"It's Xing'er!" Shen Gong, watching from the shadows, recognized the pilot of one plane as his daughter Shen Xing, the very one currently dreaming.

The jets didn't attack. They circled once, then slowed down and moved in again. Tang Wulin suddenly saw a large net being thrown toward him, enveloping him entirely.

An electric current surged through the net, making him go numb. His one-word battle armor automatically deployed, protecting his body.

Tang Wulin snorted, flinging out two strands of Blue Silver Emperor. They climbed the net, wrapping around the jet's tail. He pulled himself closer.

The pilots didn't expect this. Normally, airborne capture nets were foolproof against parachuting enemies, either knocking them unconscious or electrocuting them.

But they weren't facing a normal person. With the Golden Dragon King's bloodline, Tang Wulin's physical strength rivaled even two-word battle armor users.

With the Blue Silver Emperor's pull, he quickly reached the jet's rear, as it began to turn back toward base. Clinging tightly, Tang Wulin edged toward the cockpit.

The pilot was flying calmly—until the cockpit darkened and a knock came from above.

Instinctively, she looked up and saw Tang Wulin waving at her, as if saying: "Get out."

Shocked, the pilot quickly rolled the plane to throw him off.

But at that moment, a golden claw smashed through the high-strength cockpit glass.

A moment later, Tang Wulin flipped into the cockpit, landing in the rear seat.

"Bye-bye!" He slapped the ejection button, and the pilot—still in mid-maneuver—was blasted out before she could react.

"Ahhh!" She screamed midair but quickly recovered due to her training, managing to open her parachute.

Back in the plane, Tang Wulin used his sharp golden claws to secure himself inside the spinning jet. Blue Silver Emperor tendrils shot out, temporarily sealing the cockpit.

He climbed into the pilot's seat, expertly hit a few buttons, shook off the pursuing jet, and flew straight back toward Devil's Island.

At that moment, a voice entered Shen Xing's mind as she descended:

"Don't be afraid. Go stop him. You're a Limit Douluo—what are you afraid of?"

"Right! I'm a Limit Douluo—why should I be scared?" Shen Xing's eyes lit up. She clapped her palm toward the escaping Tang Wulin.

Her palm grew in the wind, and in a blink, it covered the entire sky.

That power was truly Limit Douluo level.

A god descending from the heavens.

"This girl... doesn't know how strong a Limit Douluo truly is, does she?" Xia Yi sweat dropped.

"Wulin!" Yali shouted, realizing the danger—but it was too late.

Shen Xing's palm crashed down, crushing Tang Wulin and the plane into the ground.

Not just him—the entire North Sea Legion, no, the entire North Sea City, was annihilated in that one slap.

Even Shen Xing herself was dumbfounded.

"This woman..." Xia Yi shivered. Thank the heavens this was just a dream. If she had that power in real life, the consequences would be unimaginable.

On Devil's Island, the Nightmare Old Demon, who had been manipulating Shen Xing's dream, stood up abruptly.

It was he who had piloted the fighter just now—not his real body, of course, which couldn't leave Devil's Island. Only through dreams could he travel.

"There's a master present..." With a thought, the entire scene—including Shen Xing—disappeared from around Xia Yi and the others.

They were instantly plunged into total darkness.

"What's happening?" Shen Gong asked anxiously.

This was his daughter's dream—its sudden end left him fearing something had happened to her.

"We're inside your daughter's dream. She just woke up, and the dream vanished. Let's go. Time to leave," Xia Yi said, glancing toward Devil's Island even in the darkness.

A moment later, the five of them simultaneously awoke in Shen Xing's hospital room.

"W-Where am I?" Shen Xing was still not fully awake. The euphoria and omnipotence from the dream left her unable to snap out of it.
