Qiao Yu felt his face darken.
He knew his mom's thinking could be quite erratic, but lately it seemed to jump more than ever.
"Comrade Qiao Xi, please acknowledge your position in the family! At my age, the biggest fear normal parents have is their child getting into an early romance!" Qiao Yu declared righteously.
Qiao Xi retorted, "Do you know why those parents fear early romance for their kids? Isn't it just because they're afraid it will disrupt their studies? So, do you think early romance would disrupt your studies? You're not a normal child, why should I be a normal parent?"
Qiao Yu sneered and retorted, "Is there a possibility that normal parents aren't afraid of disrupting studies, but are afraid of accidents involving life?"
That one sentence clearly left his mom sitting on the sofa in a momentary daze.
