Ethan had been watching everything from the side. A nervous feeling crept up in his chest.
He snapped out of it and slowly walked over to Daniel.
"Mr. Wilson, since I'm the one who filed the case, I'll head to the station and take care of things."
"Mr. White, thank you for your help."
"It's the least I could do," Ethan said with respect. He even gave Daniel a small bow before leaving.
Cole had been trying to stay invisible the whole time. The moment he saw a chance, he hurried after Ethan.
Chantelle felt drained after everything that happened.
How nice would it be if I had a normal father? she thought sadly.
Even if he's just an ordinary man with nothing, I'd be happy… as long as he really loves me.
