Chantelle just sat there, doing nothing.
He leaned in and whispered, "Chantelle, why are you just sitting there? Tell them you've used these products. How else am I supposed to sell them?"
"Huh? But I've never used them, Dad. I can't lie to people," Chantelle said without thinking.
She didn't seem to realize what Roman was trying to make her do.
"What do you mean you haven't used them? I picked them out just for you. Maybe you forgot?" Roman kept giving her sharp looks, hoping she'd pick up the hint and say what he wanted her to say.
But Chantelle wasn't going to lie for him to gain sympathy.
"Dad, telling the truth is the most basic thing a good person should do. I really haven't seen these products before—not even once," she said as she picked them up, looking embarrassed to admit it on camera.
"And another thing—I wouldn't be here smiling on this livestream if you hadn't threatened to kidnap my son just to force me to show up!" Chantelle's voice shook.
