"Little Noah, can I trade my hatchling dragon with yours?"
The female mage squinted her already narrow eyes, staring at the hatchling dragon below that followed her granddaughter closely like a shadow, wagging its tail. A smile appeared at the corner of her mouth, and she casually suggested.
"Allow me to refuse."
Noah politely yet firmly rejected his foster mother's proposal.
"Won't you consider it? My hatchling dragon looks quite good."
"What would I do with a dragon remnant sucked dry?"
With a colorful dragon species in the hands of a mage, Noah could guess the outcome even with the tip of his tail.
All along, Noah had never seen the adult red dragon that Selena took from her son for this very reason.
Although the Metallic Dragon Race and the Colorful Dragon Clan are antagonists, as members of the Dragon Clan, the immensely oppressed colorful dragons inevitably evoke sympathy from the metal dragons.
