Silas's POV
It was Kael standing there. What was he doing here? That's what my mind was asking me, but I was unable to understand and just stepped out of the bathroom leaving that candle holder inside. And stood there. How did he reach here? He was in the cave, wasn't he, when Damon and I left from there?
"What are you doing here?" I asked. My attention went to the door, which was locked—meaning he had locked it—and his awkward facial expressions while looking around. Even when I asked, he was hesitating to answer. Orian also came out from the bathroom and stood behind me.
"Isn't he that Alpha?" Orian also recognized him.
"Kael, didn't you hear what I asked?"
He took steps forward but didn't come much closer. He just stood there.
"I was worried about you, that's why I came here... Sorry if I scared or disturbed you, but I didn't mean to do that."
