Silas's POV
"No, I can't see, 'cause there's no one there now," Velric said.
And hearing that, I kind of feel relieved, 'cause I started to think that Velric could see ghosts now, but that's not the case, which is very nice. That's why I pull Velric onto my lap and peck his head.
"And Theron, you still didn't tell me what you did that made Velric recover."
When I asked Theron, he was lost in thought. I had to ask a second time—only then did his attention shift to me.
"Yes, Silas?"
"What are you thinking?"
And just then, in a moment, Theron's eyes became teary. I was shocked.
"Huh! What happened, Theron? All of a sudden, why are you crying?"
"Silasssss..."
"Yes, I'm here. Tell me what happened?"
Theron stood from his seat, and I gently set Velric down on the sofa from my lap. As I did, Theron came and sat down at my feet, resting his head on my lap while crying.
