Silas's POV
I remained in that position for five minutes, and as soon as the five minutes were up, I quickly pushed him away from me and sat up.
He didn't wake up for another twenty minutes.
After I got up, I was doing some morning exercises outside while he was still sleeping. And finally, after twenty minutes, he woke up and came outside.
"Shorty, I didn't know you were an early bird," he said while yawning.
While stretching, I turned to him.
"If you're awake, then let's go back, 'cause I'm still worried about Velric."
"Yeah, me too. Let's go back."
From there, he picked up our belongings—which were basically nothing.
My clothes had dried super fast overnight, so I put them back on, even though they were freezing cold. They weren't wet, just cold from the forest wind.
Still, I wore them. And of course, I couldn't return Theron's shirt—since I already wore it without washing it first.
