Chapter 101 - One-hundred

The street was bustling with noises and laughing, a continuous stream of people moving up and about in the street to get to their respective destinations.

Children darted between the legs of adult men, chasing one another and laughing loudly.

Carriages and carts clattered in front of the houses with wooden equipment, a few sharp daggers next to it with quilt and cotton covering half of the contents of the wooden carts.

The sound of horses hooves on the ground can be heard, adding to the bustle, the air was heavy with the scent of spices and cooking meat— the hum of chattering cheerful voices yet hushed conversations filled the air like a chorus.

The town of Philipia is full of life despite the unexplainable phenomenon happening outside.

Jannah could hear the loud sounds coming beyond the wooden walls and the elemental wall she built around the town, her eyes watching the small red dots on the map, clamoring and probably banging their bodies against the surface.
