Chapter 122 - Susanoo Unleashed!

Susanoo Unleashed!New

March 6

Tsunade's eyes widened in shock as she took in Danzo's appearance.

She never imagined he had secretly transplanted so many Sharingan.

How many members of the Uchiha clan had this man slaughtered to obtain them?

During the Uchiha massacre, Tsunade was not in Konoha, so she never fully understood what had happened. But now, seeing the horrifying number of Sharingan embedded in Danzo's body, she felt a deep chill run down her spine.

"Danzo… what is the meaning of this?" she demanded coldly.

"Hmph! What's there to explain?" Danzo scoffed. "Just making use of discarded resources. The Uchiha clan is gone, so their eyes had no use to them anymore."

His indifferent tone infuriated Tsunade.

"You bastard!"

She channeled chakra into her right foot and dashed toward Danzo at high speed.

Painful Heel Drop!

Leaping into the air, Tsunade aimed a devastating kick at Danzo, her strength enough to shatter the ground with a single blow.

However, Danzo merely sneered and didn't even attempt to dodge.

Wood Style: Bursting Gun Tree!

In an instant, a massive tree sprouted from Danzo's right arm.

Tsunade's kick landed squarely against it—but instead of breaking through, she was sent flying backward from the force.

Flipping mid-air, she landed skillfully, her eyes filled with disbelief.

Wood Style?!

But how? Danzo wasn't born with the Wood Style bloodline limit!

She clenched her fists. The ability to use Wood Style was exclusive to the First Hokage, something even the most talented ninjas had never been able to replicate.

Danzo smirked at her reaction.

"Curious, aren't you?" he taunted. "It's simple—I transplanted the First Hokage's cells into my body. Thanks to that, I can use Wood Style and also withstand multiple Sharingan transplants. My power has reached new heights!"

"You… you defiled the First Hokage's body?!" one of the elders shouted in outrage.

"Hmph. I suggest you shut up," Danzo snapped. "Otherwise, you'll all die here today."

The elders immediately fell silent. Though they were furious, they valued their lives far too much to provoke Danzo further.

Satisfied, Danzo turned back to Tsunade and Bai Ye. His gaze was cold and murderous.

"Neither of you will leave here alive."

Tsunade gritted her teeth and turned to Bai Ye.

"We need to work together. Danzo is too powerful to face alone."

Even though Bai Ye was strong, she doubted he could handle a man wielding multiple Sharingan and the First Hokage's cells on his own.

But Bai Ye merely shook his head.

"It doesn't matter how many stolen powers he has. He'll never be able to use them properly," he said.

Danzo scowled. "What do you know? You'll never understand the true power of the Sharingan!"

"Sharingan is indeed powerful," Bai Ye replied, his voice calm. "But you are not worthy of wielding it."

As he spoke, a sudden surge of energy erupted from his body. His black eyes began to change—glowing with a mysterious purple light.

Tsunade and Danzo both stiffened in shock.

His pupils now held the intricate patterns of the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, radiating an overwhelming aura.

"What… what is this?" Danzo muttered, feeling an inexplicable sense of dread.

Then, Bai Ye uttered a single word.

"Susanoo."

In an instant, an enormous, crimson energy burst forth, engulfing Bai Ye completely.

A gigantic, armored warrior materialized around him—a towering entity formed entirely of raw spiritual power.

Danzo and Tsunade could only stare in awe.

"What… what is this monster?!" Danzo's voice trembled.

Even with the First Hokage's cells, even with all his stolen Sharingan, he had never felt such an overwhelming force.

Tsunade was equally stunned. She had already acknowledged Bai Ye's strength, but this was beyond her wildest imagination.

Bai Ye, standing within the colossal figure, smirked to himself.

So this is Susanoo… truly a magnificent power.

He knew he didn't even need Susanoo to defeat Danzo. He had summoned it for one reason only—to demonstrate his absolute superiority.

Now, Tsunade would have no doubts about following him.

Danzo, however, refused to accept defeat.

"Hmph! Don't get too full of yourself!" he growled, his right eye gleaming ominously.

Kotoamatsukami—Distinguished Heavenly Gods.

He activated the ultimate genjutsu, aiming to manipulate Bai Ye's mind and make him his puppet.

But the moment the technique was unleashed… nothing happened.

Danzo's heart pounded in panic.

Why?! Why isn't it working?!

Before he could react—

BOOM!

Susanoo's massive hand came crashing down, smashing him into oblivion.

Although Danzo had been reduced to mere ashes, he was not truly dead. Moments later, he reappeared a short distance away, completely unscathed.

This was the power of Izanagi.

Izanagi allowed its user to rewrite their reality for a brief period, nullifying any unfavorable outcomes—including death itself. However, this ability came at a steep price.

Each activation of Izanagi consumed a Sharingan, permanently destroying it. Excluding Shisui's eye, Danzo possessed ten Sharingan embedded in his arm. This meant he had a total of ten minutes of invulnerability.

Yet, despite this apparent advantage, Danzo's expression was grim.

Because the man standing before him—Bai Ye—was too strong.

Against such absolute power, what was the use of temporary invincibility? Ten minutes or not, the outcome remained unchanged.

"You… You're pushing too far!" Danzo growled, attempting to mask his growing fear. "Do you truly intend to go against Konoha and the Land of Fire?"

He hoped to intimidate Bai Ye by invoking the weight of Konoha's authority.

But such tactics were meaningless.

With Bai Ye's current strength, neither Konoha, the Land of Fire, nor even the entire shinobi world could pose a real threat to him.

Danzo's attempt to pressure him was nothing more than a joke.

Seeing Bai Ye's indifferent expression, Danzo's heart sank further. He had never imagined someone could disregard the power of an entire nation so effortlessly.

But he could not afford to give up.

His only option was to keep fighting, to keep struggling for survival.

Before Danzo could speak again, Tsunade suddenly interrupted him.

"Enough, Danzo. Stop talking."

Danzo's eyes gleamed as he saw an opportunity.

"Tsunade, you are a Konoha shinobi, just like me! You were a close friend of the Third Hokage! And yet, you would rather stand aside and watch as Konoha crumbles?" he argued desperately.

Seeing no immediate reaction from Tsunade, Danzo grew more anxious. He continued, "Tsunade, if we join forces, even this man won't be able to defeat us! I swear, once we eliminate him, you will remain the Fifth Hokage, and I will always support you!"

"Yes! Tsunade, join forces with Danzo!" The elders, fearing for their own lives, abandoned all pretense of morality. At this moment, they no longer cared about Danzo's crimes or the Uchiha massacre—only their own survival.

Bai Ye, having dismissed his Susanoo, observed the desperate pleas of the elders with a calm expression.

He trusted that Tsunade would make the right decision.

"Tsunade, why are you hesitating?" Danzo demanded.

Becoming Hokage had been his lifelong obsession. But in the end, the most important thing was survival. As long as he lived, he could always find another path to power.

The elders held their breath, awaiting Tsunade's response.

Bai Ye, unbothered by their schemes, spoke up, "It doesn't matter. They'll find out sooner or later. Why not just tell them now?"

"What? Tell us what?" One of the elders glared at Bai Ye, his voice filled with unease.

Tsunade sighed deeply. A moment later, her hesitation faded, replaced by determination. She turned to Danzo and the elders, her voice firm.

"I'm sorry. That's impossible."

!!!

"What?! Tsunade, what are you saying?!"

Danzo and the elders were stunned. Their disbelief was clear on their faces.

If Tsunade was truly betraying Konoha, the implications were catastrophic.

"Tsunade, you bear the title of Hokage!" Danzo roared in fury. "Even if I desire power, I have never betrayed Konoha! But you—you're willing to hand Konoha over to an outsider?!"

"Konoha does not belong to a single person!" one elder interjected. "You cannot simply hand it over! And as for you—" He turned to Bai Ye, pointing an accusing finger. "You, a man of unknown origins, are not qualified to control Konoha!"

Bai Ye simply raised an eyebrow.

The next moment—

Boom!

An overwhelming heat filled the air.

The sheer intensity of the flames made Tsunade, Danzo, and the others feel as if they were on the verge of combustion.

Ryūjin Jakka.

The blade at Bai Ye's waist emitted a searing light.

With a simple swing, an enormous flaming hand surged forward, engulfing a large section of the forest in an inferno. Trees, soil—everything in its path was reduced to smoldering ashes.

A long, blazing path stretched for hundreds of meters.

"This… This is impossible…"

The elders were frozen in shock.

What kind of monster possessed such power?

Was this even human?

Even Danzo and Tsunade were left speechless. But while Tsunade reevaluated Bai Ye's strength with awe, Danzo was consumed by despair.

Because Bai Ye's attack had been completely different from before.

Which meant—

He had never even been fighting seriously.

Tsunade once again revised her estimate of Bai Ye's true strength.

Danzo, however, was unwilling to accept reality.

"Damn it… I refuse to give up!"

Desperate, he activated his Sharingan, attempting to cast a powerful illusion on Bai Ye.

But the moment their eyes met, Danzo realized something terrifying.

His genjutsu had failed.

"What… What kind of eyes are those?!"

Bai Ye's star-like purple pupils glowed ominously.

"It's time to end this."

His calm voice sealed Danzo's fate.

In the next instant, Bai Ye unsheathed Ryūjin Jakka.

A fiery tornado erupted, surging toward Danzo with unstoppable force.

Danzo attempted to flee, but it was too late.

He was swallowed whole by the inferno.

In his final moments, he activated Izanagi again.

But when he revived, he found himself still inside the tornado.

"What… How is this possible?!"

The thought barely crossed his mind before the flames consumed him once more.

Again and again, Danzo burned to death, only to revive and burn again.

Until—

His final Sharingan was gone.

The tornado slowly faded, revealing nothing but charred remains.

Tsunade stared at the aftermath in stunned silence.

"…It's over?" she murmured.

Danzo was gone.

This time, completely and utterly dead.
