Rosita popped the champagne with a shriek, jumping up and down to the loud music. Among everyone else seated, she looked the happiest and it was evident.
"Mila, don't be shy to let me know if you want more wine... music, anything at all. I'll make sure it's provided. Okay?" the young woman asked, her eyes glinting with intoxication.
Mila raised the glass she had held since she arrived, "I'll let you know that, Rosita," she confirmed with a smile.
Lucas shook his head and sighed, "Mila, you weren't threatened, right?" he asked to confirm. "I mean, don't get me wrong, but it feels like this is not your turf."
Lacie couldn't agree more, but she decided not to say anything. Mila already confirmed that she really wanted to party.
"It sounded like fun, I said why not?" Mila replied with a girlish smile, crossing her legs. "And Rosita makes me smile," she shrugged.
