Although Jamal had been feeling sleepy when he responded to Abigail's text, the moment the new message came in, every trace of sleep disappeared from his system and he sat up.
Why would Ryan do that? Was he a pervert? Had he been grooming Dawn all these years for himself? But that made no sense. Why would he do that when he made her seem like his biological daughter?
But then again, the public didn't know about her as his daughter, Jamal reminded himself.
