Chapter 189 - Chapter 188: A Powerful Ally

After rescuing the Theatrical Spider-Man of Earth-311 and successfully capturing Morlun, Peter reinforced the magical seal and used his unique abilities to temporarily erase this world's mark from the Great Web.

He knew that his actions wouldn't escape the notice of this timeline's Master Weaver.

But he was even more certain that not only would the Master Weaver refrain from reporting to Solus, but he would actively cover for him!

Because everything the Master Weaver did was for the sole purpose of utterly destroying the Inheritor family!

For this goal, he did not hesitate to kill his own mother and sacrifice countless Spider-People!

—Although the Spider-People hunted by the Inheritors did not die directly at the Master Weaver's hands, it was his actions that led to their demise. He was the one who willingly revealed the "prophecy" to Solus and opened the portals to parallel universes for them.

He did not kill them himself, yet they perished because of him.

In the original timeline, lacking any outside assistance, the Master Weaver could only bear this burden in silence. It took him who-knows-how-many years to finally find an opportunity to secretly reveal the Inheritors' deeds to both Ultimate Spider-Man, Parker, and Spider-UK.

Only then did the great purge of the Inheritor family unfold in the Spider-Verse event.

But now, with Peter as an "external reinforcement," he was certain the Master Weaver wouldn't remain indifferent!

And soon enough, everything that followed proved Peter right.

After bringing the Theatrical Spider-Man of Earth-311 back to Earth-928, Parker had also recruited a few formidable allies from other worlds.

They were:

Ashley Barton (Spider-Woman) from Earth-807128.

Hobie Brown (Spider-Punk) from Earth-138.

Pavitr Prabhakar (Indian Spider-Man) from Earth-50101.

Peter Parker (Spider-Judge) from Earth-8351.

And the Six-Armed Spider-Man from Earth-92100.

It had to be said—while Parker had his flaws, when it came to execution, he was second to none.

Peter had only given him a few pointers, and he had swiftly gathered this team of Spider-People.

Unfortunately, Peter didn't get to see the few figures he most wanted to meet.

The first of them was the man from hell—

Toei Spider-Man!

Supaidāman!

Takuya Yamashiro!

A Spider-Man whose true power remained a mystery.

Based on the raw data Peter had seen before his transmigration, Supaidāman—aside from his absurdly overpowered Spider-Sense—seemed weaker than a typical Spider-Man in every other aspect.

It felt as though he was designed more like a street-level superhero piloting a mech.

But in actual combat, he was anything but simple.

Most outrageously, he could wrestle with kaiju-sized alien monsters!

Are you kidding me? Do you know how massive those things are?!

One punch from them could flatten a small mountain!

And yet, this guy could go toe-to-toe with them in direct combat?!

More than once, he had even used his webs in human form to pull massive monsters—completely absurd!

What Peter had glimpsed from the Great Web was even more shocking:

In the upcoming war, Solus—the same Solus who effortlessly one-shot Cosmic Captain Spider-Man, a being with single-universe level power—was ultimately slain in a single strike by Supaidāman's Warrior's Soul Sword!

Based on Peter's overall assessment, Supaidāman's true strength likely ranged somewhere between single-universe to multiversal level.

His defense level shouldn't be too high, possibly even lower than a single-universe level—because Leopardon was taken down in the first battle.

However, his offensive capability is extremely strong, and the reason is exactly what was mentioned above—he was able to one-shot Solus, who was at a multiversal level.

In any case, no matter what, he is undoubtedly an incredibly powerful ally.

The second one is Captain Universe Spider-Man from Earth-13.

His experiences are mostly similar to those of the main-universe Spider-Man, except that he retained the power of Captain Universe. Having possessed this power for a long time, he evolved from a "street-level" superhero Spider-Man into a Captain Universe Spider-Man with single-universe-level strength!

His power is sufficient to take on any of the Inheritors, except for Solus.

In the original storyline, he protected many Spider-People from different universes from being hunted by the Inheritors.

Unfortunately, due to underestimating his enemy—combined with the fact that Solus was indeed extremely powerful—he was quickly overpowered in battle. Solus captured him, drained all his life energy, and killed him completely.

The third one is Spider-UK.

In the original work, Spider-UK was not particularly impressive. Not only did he let the main-universe Spider-Man and Jon Parker take center stage in Spider-Verse, but he was also instantly killed by the returning Inheritors in Spider-Geddon.

However, in terms of background and setting, he is actually quite extraordinary.

"Captain Britain"—judging by the name, he might seem like a counterpart to Captain America.

But in reality, the two are completely different concepts.

Captain America is an enhanced super-soldier whose most notable abilities are his leadership skills and his mysterious ability to hold his own against nearly anyone in battle.

On the other hand, Captain Britain is a magic-based superhero.

Chosen by the legendary wizard Merlin's mystical power, they serve as guardians of the Omniverse and various parallel universes. They can fly, teleport, foresee the future, lift hundreds of tons, and wield magic powerful enough to rival the Phoenix Force.

Different parallel universes have different versions of Captain Britain.

They form an organization led by the Queen, working together to maintain peace across countless worlds.

Spider-UK is one of them.

Bide had reason to believe that his magical prowess might even surpass his own!

It was just unclear why his performance in the original work was so lackluster.

As for the fourth, he is an even more mysterious existence—

Ghost-Spider!

Most people are familiar with Ghost Rider, but this Ghost-Spider was originally Spider-Man. After hunting down and killing numerous Spider-People from different dimensions, he finally came to his senses during his battle with the main-universe Spider-Man. In the end, he took his own life and fell into hell.

However, after entering hell, the Sorcerer Supreme of that universe, Banner, offered him a chance at redemption—allowing him to merge with the Spirit of Vengeance, thus becoming Ghost-Spider.

In addition to enhanced Spider abilities, he gained the Ghost Rider's powers, including summoning and controlling hellfire, summoning demons, and delivering judgment upon sinners.

His strength is at least at the single-universe level and could potentially reach the multiversal level.

Although Bide never underestimated himself, he had to admit that all four of these Spider-Men were likely stronger than him.

If he could recruit just two of them, this multiversal war against the Inheritors would be as good as won!
