"I still don't understand something," Dara said after I gave her a small summary of everything that happened in the last few days. She seemed confused, and I know I would be too "Why are you going around with that woman?" she pointed to Mae, who was sitting right behind me eating a piece of dried meat. Violet was growling at her.
"What? Fearing someone will get your place in the harem, old lady?" Mae answered, still trying to mock Dara.
"W-w-what are you talking about, you stupid brat?!" Dara's face turned red, she raised her arms, as if trying to defend herself. "H-harem?!" That is when she looked at me, and I felt judged.
"Don't mind her" I tried to stop the situation how I could.
Mae started to laugh at her reaction. Violet took the chance to snatch the piece of dried meat from Mae and ran away with it in her mouth, giggling.
"Hey, you mut!" Mae yelled at her and went after her.
"You get…quite the party going" Dara pointed, still embarrassed.
