Caroline snatched her phone from Aurora's hand, her cheeks burning red with embarrassment and anger.
"Hmph! Keep pretending to be nice all you want," Caroline spat, her voice shaky. "Everyone knows you're just faking it."
Aurora just smiled, all calm and collected.
"If you say so. But it's not my fault you tripped over air."
A few kids giggled at that, trying to hide their laughter behind their hands.
Even Mia had to cover her mouth to stop from laughing out loud.
"Whatever," Caroline snapped, storming off with her chin held high.
But it was obvious she was more upset than proud.
Mia leaned over to Aurora, her eyes wide. "You were amazing."
"Thank you," Aurora said as she picked up her phone from the ground and left the classroom.
She found a secluded corner, took out a pen drive, and inserted it into the phone.
After a while, the phone was unlocked. Aurora hurriedly moved some files from her pendrive to the phone and then ejected the pendrive.
