For a moment, there was only silence. Then, slowly, the lid of the box opened, and Luna's pale, trembling face peeked out.
"I-It's me..." Luna whispered.
One of the men spoke into his earpiece. "Sir, we've found the young lady. She's safe."
Adam Price's jaw dropped. "What... What's going on?"
Before he could make sense of the situation, more men in black suits entered the room.
And right behind them was a middle-aged man with brown hair, wearing a sleek, expensive suit.
His eyes were frantic, his expression full of worry. But the moment he saw Luna, his whole face changed.
"Luna!" he called out, rushing forward. His voice cracked with emotion.
"Dad?" Luna whispered, her own voice shaky.
The man reached her and wrapped her in a tight hug, tears glistening in his eyes.
"I'm so sorry, sweetheart. I should have found you sooner. Are you hurt? Did anyone hurt you?"
