W/N i got tired of saying mahika so its back to magic yaay.. idk what to call it tbh i got the inspiration at dnd so it does not have mana just the amount of uses and the physical or mental strain it gives the user if you have a name if you even read this i will accept and think about it.
on a house in a deep forest where gigantic trees laid with the height of 10 meters. the clanging metals could be heard across the the forest as inside. there was a wooden cabin. two kids fought against a old man. the two kids tried to cooperate and combo their attacks quickly but the old man was way too experienced than them. he moved easily and blocking and parrying their attacks directed at him.
"AGAIN!" rafhet said as he knocked off a wooden sword off akumada with one hand. and caught kami by her arm and lifting her off the ground. and threw her at akumada.
"hugh?!" akumada gasped as he faced the full force of her impact. he tumbled on the ground a couple of times before he stood up struggling.
kami slowly stood up aswell looking around for her wooden sword. and she grabbed dirt on the ground and began to run back towards rafhet. "Akumada!" she shouted as she got at the right distance she threw the dirt directed at rafhet's face.
Akumada heard her and held out his hand and chanted "Dark Ball" energy gathered on his palm into a sphere in an instant and threw it at rafhet. "fuuuuu..." he exhaled as his uses of darkball decreased by one.
Rafhet grinned and dodged the dirt by tilting his head and ducked his body as the dark ball passed by over him.
kami took advantage as instead of continuing to the wooden blade she changed her course with a sharp turn her fist glowed brightly. "Cascade barrage!" she said as her power burst fourth with power.
rafhet kept his grin as he blocked his chest. he felt all her punches connect as his arms exploded in pain. he grunted for a bit before quickly standing up and before she could dodge she was met with an axe kick and she was knocked out.
"kami!" he said as a bead of sweat ran down his face. and suddenly he felt a presence beside him
"always be alert in the battlefield kid even if your allied are hurt." rafhet said as he punched akumada and knocking him out aswell.
rafhet looked upon the two unconscious kids with a smile "they may be young but they are smart at strategy yet they are far too weak... the binds of power from this world affects them too much and i may not be able to see their prime. but i will give them all they need especially you akumada.. no. my grandson" tengoku muttered as he lifted them off the ground and carried them off to his bed.
once he laid the two kids on a soft bed he grabbed his sword and some trap materials as he headed out to hunt Dinner.

As rafhet hunted animals for food he heard the galloping of horses in the distance and he saw a band of clad armor knights. they saw him and approached his position and once they arrived they stopped in front of him as silven looked at rafhet with disgust. "tengoku rafhet the grandfather of the woman who birthed a demon how dare you show your filthy face at me!!".
rafhets smile vanished and began to leak out blood lust. "silven you fucking bastard i still did not forget how what you did to me." rafhet responded.
"So what are you gonna do because with your age can you even defeat us old bastard?" silven said mockingly.
rafhet calmly looked around and counting the heads of everyone present ""1 silven. 1 vice commander who is a prodigy. and 8 fodder knights"" rafhet muttered to himself as he began to laugh "Rharharharharha!!" he laughed as he drew his sword "SILVEN YOU ARE AN OVERCONFIDENT BASTARD AS EVER I SEE!! LETS SEE IF EVEN WITH MY RUST AND OLD AGE YOU COUD EVEN. DEFEAT ME!!" Rafhet said with a wide grin as he leaned his upper half and rushed towards silven. "TALASIUM!!" Rafhet shouted as his sword grew a sharp edge that is made out of wind.
silven upon seeing this jumped off his horse instantly and unsheathed his sword in the middle of the air. "Silver light!" he said calmly as his body shone and as their swords clashed a powerful pressure came down like an old tiger way past his prime facing a lion who just got past his prime.
their swords clang together with a force enough to cut a full grown tree. silven then pushed off rafhet with the help of his sword as he landed with a thud. and rafhet staggered back.
"tch old bastard you are not as strong as before so don't be overconfident" silven said with a slight grin.
and silven immediately rushed towards rafhet. and rafhet steadied himself and saw silven rushing at him and as he gritted his teeth he chanted "Golden body Rook!" as he covered his head.with his arns.
"Spear the old man knights!!" silven shouted as he began barraging slashes onto rafhet's body. the 9 knights around the area chanted as they held their spears "Sharpening!" they shouted as they rushed towards rafhet and silven got out of the way.
Rafhet although damaged and parts of his body has been cut 4cm deep he saw a hole in their attack and took advantage as he jumped into the air and chanted "EDGE OF THE SUNSET" as he chanted those words magic particles began to gather in the edge of his blade and time ticked by.
3seconds-- silven realizing what is happening. ordered his men to spread as he rushed towards rafhet.
12seconds--silven arrived to rafhets location and suddenly rafhet grabbed silvens collar with one hand as he continued charging his attack with the other. while silven continued his barrage with one hand sword stikes.
25seconds-- silven realized rafhet still has his golden body activated and he tried to attack again but to no avail and suddenly silven was pulled out of rafhets hand by viton.
30 seconds was up as rafhet appeared on the ground in an instant as silvens arm came flying off.
"Tch! lucky bastard" rafhet muttered as he fled the area.
"Catch that mud rugged old man useless men" silven shouted in rage but viton cuts him off.
"as the vice commander of the army batch we will retreat as without proper healthcare the commander will not make it" viton said calmly as silven directed his rage at him.
"the knights instantly followed viton's orders. they were shaken at the sight of rafhet cutting silven's arm off in one move and they do not want to meet death for some orders of a commander they do not like. as their respect at viton is only related to his power.

rafhet arrived back in the cabin as he stumbled inside and grabbing a roll of bandages as his deep cuts continued to bleed. and suddenly he heard foot steps behind him and he saw kami looking curiously.
"old man why are you bleeding and cut up?" she asked while unconciously drooling at the scent of blood while her eyes glowed blood red.
"rafhet smiled as he began to bandage himself "dont worry girl this oldman just had a slight scuffle" he said reassuringly. "mind if we eat veggies again?" he asked her as she made a bitter face.
"NO i dont like it and its taste" she said with a pout. as she placed her hands on her hips.
"well you have no choice in this matter and now call your friend before i go inside the room and start to get cleaned up or we will start the training while he has not eaten yet" rafhet said as he finished bandaging himself.
rafhet walked out the cabin and began foraging and it took him 30minutes to gather food and after he finished foraging and came back to the cabin. only to find the cabin smoking. he rushed inside only to find the furnace overflowing with wood while kami and akumada is holding a bucket of water trying to put out the fire that leaks out the furnace.
"i was just gone for half an hour and i came back to this?" rafhet said as he walked forward the furnace with a frown.
"well old man you should not have left us alone" akumada replied with a mocking tone. as an ember of flame flew on his hand making him drop the bucket of water and put the fire off.
rafhet sighed as he pulled out his sword and sliced the wood that is causing the fire to spread in the house. "you two clean the mess before i place extra exercise for your training today." rafhet demanded as he placed the herbs, fruits and mushrooms he had gathered in the table.
the next day.
akumada and kami ran around rafhet as they looked for a opening "you two i advice that you should not expend your energy more than your enemy especially if its someone as skilled as me" rafhet shouted as he stomped the ground. "RUMBLE!" rafhet chanted as the ground shook making kami fall onto the ground.
"Kami!" akumada shouted as he rushed forward as rafhet appeared beside him. "second advice kid do not get distracted in a fight!" he said as he kicked akumada on the side making him get knocked back into the dirt.
Rafhet waited for the two kids to slowly stood up. "care for more?" rafhet said calmly as he stretched his muscles once more. "come at me!" rafhet said as akumada and kami grabbed their weapons and rushed towards rafhet.
rafhet kept his stand as he began pointing out their attacks and defences while defending himself from their attacks. "akumada preserve your energy at the right time and kami dont always rely on close combat" he shouted as he blocked their attacks once again.
and as days turned to weeks passed by rafhet continued to deligently and continuously teach them from weapon arts, fighting styles, knowledge and magic. "now follow my lead "water snake!" rafhet chanted as he swiped his hand in the air making a water shaped that of a serpent out of thin air and hit a target and causing a dent to it. "water is a versitile magic you could also heal people with it but its weaker than a light magic in terms of healing. but it is stronger at eliminating infections since light will just speed up the damaged part not the infections or viruses that came onto the wound." rafhet said calmly as he handed her a water magic book.
he turned to akumada and looked calmly and placed his hand onto akumada's forehead "now calm just flow your magic to your heart and let me peek at your power. "Heart of desires" rafhet chanted as he felt comfort along with dread in his body. upon taking his hands off akumada he smiled calmly. "well akumada you have a light and dark magic proficiency although i am not that great in these two magic i do still have the books of magic that came from my daughter.
now follow this old mans steps will you "Shine!" rafhet chanted as a bright light shone through the forest "now don't rush things akumada unlike your dark magic your light magic is very unused resulting in it being underdeveloped so be patient and learn the basics" he added patting akumada in the head and when kami saw this she stopped what she was doing and rushed over to get head pats and in the end they are still kids even after their dark upbringing.
8 Years Later
akumada sat beside kami on the roof of the cabin as they talked. and over this past years they have matured he has grown into a 19 year old young man and he wore a brown leather sleeveless shirt made out of demon bear hide, black cargo pants and heavy duty boots. and his golden hair is kept short and a little spiky and side bangs reaching onto her cheek.
and she had become a 18 year old young woman and she wore a brown fur coat that hung on her back as she wore a leather sleeveless shirt and a short with chainmail thighs and heavy duty boots. and she had a straight black hair but a little unbrushed.
"i wonder what pops will give us" she asked akumada playfully as she looked onto his face with a glimmer warmness.
"i am curious as well he did said he will give us something that we deserve but i don't know what it is" he replied curiously.
he laid down on the roof and looked up onto the trees that shadowed over the cabin. and she looked at him and smiled and chanted "Water creation" "water manipulation" began manipulating the water on her palms as it turns into a sword, mace, and a lance and her hands started becoming numb and her control over water falters and dissipates into air.
she sighs and rested her hand on her thigh "i still cant do it why it has been years since i learned this magic but why cant i manipulate it more than 3 times" she complained.
akumada looked at her with one eye closed. "well you cant exactly rush it but how about thinking outside the box and casting more than once" he said with a smile
she smiled back and shook her head "you know that cant happen pops said it himself if we cast the same magic twice it will not stack and will just exhaust us" she replied with a smile
he nodded and closed his eyes and he opened it quickly with a smile. "then i have an idea how about like this i know a thing or two about strong magic and i can cast a medium magic then chant a strong magic with a 30 seconds activation time then after i emptied the effects out and i will get another in an instant clever right" he said with a wide grin.
kami looked at him with a confused expression "i dont understand what you just said" she said with an awkward expression.
akumada quickly stood up "like this kami" he said and began chanting "Light purges the darkness!" he chanted as nothing happened and he chanted "shine!" as he finished chanting a bright light illuminated in the forest that lasted 15 seconds and once it dims down 15 seconds later another bright light shone but this one due to its purifying nature was warm. "like that" he said as he gave a thumbs up to kami.
"i see its like double chanting without the magic merging and giving the same result" she said with a with newfound knowledge.
"kami! akumada! follow me" a voice inside the cabin called for them. they jumped down from the roof and into the ground as they got inside the cabin to meet rafhet as they got led to a hidden basement.
"kami. akumada where i am going to lead you is the armory that my daughter gave to me and its very important to me and you akumada" he said with a grin
"why me? i din not even met your daughter old man" akumada said calmly. with a hidden curiosity.
"Rharharharharha!" rafhet laughed as they reached a wooden door "well she is more important more than you think in your life brat you have to atleast respect your mother.." rafhet said as akumada and kami froze
"WHAT Do YOU MEAN!" akumada said with wide eyes open and a shocked voice.
rafhet grined "well do you two want your weapons or a story time" he said with a warm grin
kami then took a step forward awkwardly and looked at rafhet "pops lets get the things you will give us and lets hear the story" she said calmly and slightly tensed.
rafhet smiled and opened the locked door and it revealed 2 sets of armor and 3 weapons one a needle like dual bladed sword one in each edge and along the metal were a bunch of unknown designs it was 4 ft long and has a handle that is long enough for two handed swordsmanship and has a lime color tint.
the second weapons are 5 daggers that is shaped like a feather with a silver glow.
the third weapon is a short sword with a rapier like handle with a silver glow.
and the one of the set of armor had a design of a wolf that shined like a smooth and shiny silver. and the other set of armor is a fox like armor that glowed of silver and gold.
rafhet smiled despite the tension still lingering "well as you can see this is her armory's greatest items although one of them is missing and the other is destroyed during her final fight. the one that is like a needle is named zeus it could cast magic that is engraved into it though its one time use magic its still very useful.
the feather daggers are named persephene it could ricochet and will rebound like a boomerang. the shortsword is named downcast it can absorb magic but there is a limit of how much it could absorb its typically the amount of uses to a very strong magic so it could cut through magic defences like butter and bruise physical defences. and the fourth weapon raincast is missing and she told me it was taken by the holy demon.
the armor that looked like a wolf named hades and it could numb the wearers feeling for exhaustion and that fox like armor is named neptune it could allow the wearers to feel the status of people nearby. and the third set named aries increses the strength of the wearer by five fold although it was destroyed during her fight." rafhet finished explaining all of the items as he left the room "pick your weapons and armor then meet me in the living room" his voice echoed in the hall.
akumada snapped back into reality and looked back at the hall and shouted with a angry voice "old fool get back here you have to explain it to me" he shouted as he tried to go back into the hall but she grabbed him by the collar.
"akumada calm down and keep your cool i do not know what you feel right now but please lets.. choose a weapon and go back to the living room. so just please calm down" she said with a low voice as she hugged him from behind.
"no! he knew my mother all these years and we had spent so much time with him and yet he said nothing about it how could i calm down?!" he said as the stress and shock crept up and tears began to crawl down his face.
she tightened her hug and refused to let go "please akumada i may be in the wrong side for saying this but think about what he felt when your mother died you know because its her daughter since he said earlier we were going to his daughters armory so please calm down. they were close and he treasures her think about it akumada you are blinded in anger and confusion so please.." she pleaded as she kept her hug tight as a tear crawled down her cheek.
akumada falls down on his knees as he stared at the hallway "there there i am here aku we will find out later so first lets choose equipment ok.." she said warmly as she holds his hand and pulled him off the ground and they walked towards the items. "go on choose first it was your mothers equipment after all" she said warmly.
akumada walked towards the equipment with a tense yet hopeful emotion. "did the old man lie or is it the truth but when i get back Infront of him i swear to get a answer" he said as he grabbed the short sword (downcast) and when he touched the hades armor it glowed and he felt numbness in his arm as the armor got absorbed inside at his finger tips.
"what happened" he asked with a confused expression as he looked at his numb hand.
kami looked confused as well "we need to really ask pops after we get back" she said calmly as she began walking towards the items and took zeus and and persephene weapons. "mind if i take this two" she asked with a joking tone but akumada nodded. "R-really?!" she asked again.
"yeah besides i trust you enough and as thanks for comforting me earlier." he said as his eyes looked at the floor.
"a-akumada" she said his name as she hugged him. "its nothing aku besides.." she felt her face got warm as she looked at him. "do you wanna stay with me till death?" she asked hopefully.
he looked at her "of course you were the first person that accepted me and a true friend" he said with a smile.
she felt satisfied and dissapointed but she hugged him tightly "okay just dont find another... nevermind" she said as she broke off the hug she touched the fox like armor as it also got sucked within her finger tips.
although she was weary of the armor she focused on akumada and rafhet first. she grabbed by his hand with a smile "lets go aku" she said as she dragged him out of the room.

rafhet waited with a tense mood as he remembered his daughter with a heavy heart "santamaria i wish you were alive to tell me the right move. i want to chant the universe magic scroll you gave to me to give them a better chance to live a good life so is it right for me to leave them once a huge truth is dumped on them?" he asked to himself solemnly.
when akumada and kami finally he looked at them with his eyes low. "take a seat i will explain everything" he said his eyes closed.
akumada glared while kami pulled him down to seat.
rafhet sighed and began explaining "your mother is tengoku santamaria she. was a great person and a great daughter she was a noble at the capital city of Aforte city. when she graduated the academy she took the opportunity to become a Royal knight at the age of 18 and quickly rose to fame and power. and so much power and fame people thought she could rival the ten demon kings all at once but. she had not even reached her peak yet and still yet to experience things that will come as she grew up older.
when she became 25 she was as strong as a world knight but her magical capabilities had yet to develop her magical capabilities the princess of the kingdom sent her to an expedition on Lords grave a island that no one could take control even with the power of demon kings and filled of beast up to continental beast.
and the expedition group she was in never came back but one day she returned in the mansion torn and broken she was bearing a child 7 months old inside her. when. we finally got information she answered that in the middle of the expedition they encountered a demon so strong it was unreal. every allies she had died but she was captured and.. forced to bear the offspring and the demon was a Ram standing on two legs wearing a noble like clothing. and she cant even remember most of it due to trauma. and the king sent me to a aid in help as backup in an outskirts of the city 1 month before she gave birth...
and when i came back my own sons and nieces and brothers, sisters everyone said she died giving birth to you and akumada you died upon birth they said. that's why i left to this mountains because i cant face myself that i was not there for my own daughter because i was too kind to refuse the kings orders. and before i left the kingdom i took the equipment you have now along with me because i overheard them talking to each other how they would take your mothers belongings.
so i took the equipment and left since they grew up as nobles they will get their way in taking the belongings when i am there to take it. and i only found out they lied because i saw you akumada. they lied about your death and probably had the idea that you will just die in the streets. you have the looks of your mother besides the ram horn and pupils so will you let me do one last thing as a sorry" rafhet said as his eyes glowed and began chanting. "Universe Magic! May the gods and goddeses may bless you with a bright future and happiness even when peril comes thy i Tengoku Rafhet Sacrifice my life with Love and Respect for those i care" he finished chanting as a magic circle Spun underneath akumada and kami "i am sorry kids please accept my last gift as this old man seeks to rest with his sins" he finished talking as his body cracked and bursts into dust leaving nothing behind.
akumada and kami were left speechless as the man who took care of them for 8 years had disappeared after revealing a massive revelation.
"Old man how dare you leave us.. leave us.. here.." akumada said as his voice weakened as hate surged in his body.
kami snapped out of her confusion and despair as she stood up with determination and fear. she placed her hand on akumada's shoulder as she said "lets rest until we gain enough strength and will ok" she said with worry underneath a facade of brightness.
akumada nodded slowly and walked to his room without a word and when kami got back to her room she began to cry quietly "pops why did you leave us like that you did not even give a proper good bye" she said as tears crawled down her cheek and sadness filled her heart.
the next day in the evening
a knock rang in her door as she wiped her tears and stood up and stood behind the door. "akumada you should rest.." she said positively.
she had spent all day crying and mourning.
"kami.. will you let me inside?" he asked as kami slowly unlocked the door and once he got inside he hugged her tightly. "i knew you would cry. you were always the closest one towards that old fool between us" he said as he began to pat her back and she cried on his chest.
"akumada Spoil me just this once" she asked with tears still sliding down her cheak as weakness was shown in her form. "i don't want to show my fear and weakness infront of you. i wanna be strong for you so just this once." she asked again pleadingly like wanting to get distracted away from the memories of losing a person close to her.
"but kami we are only..." he tried to argue but kami tightened his hug and pleaded again. and he sighs and stroked her head "pleasure is not a way to distract from sorrow kami" he said but it was not effective.
"akumada i love you please?" she pleaded once again as she stunned akumada with one word.
"kami... how about i just confort you but not that kind of course i wont decline but is it really ok for you and your conscience?" he said lowly. but she shook her head "please".
akumada gave into her as he slowly guided her to the bed as he kissed her and slowly introduced each others lips. and clothes was slowly taken off and landed onto the wooden floor.
he began caressing and stroking her body as she parted her legs for him. and he positioned himself between her legs and they continued kissing each other as her hands scratched his back. and he then broke off the kiss and looked at her in the eyes. she shook her head as he positioned himself and pushed inside her. she shed a tea as she bit his upper shoulder. as her hymen was pierced.
"i.. i am ok" she said as he wrapped her legs around his waist as he began slowly thrusting as she slowly got comfortable and pain was exchanged with pleasure as she began instinctually moaning as his shaft thrusts inside her and becoming more faster and harder as the sex turned intense. and kami felt happy as she forgot her sorrow for the time being while akumada felt happy to help her like all the times she comforted him.

akumada and kami stood backyard of the cabin with a grave of rafhet standing in the backyard where a slab of rock where tengoku rafhets name was placed. she slid her hands onto his hand as she looked at him curiously. "when are we heading out already" she asked with a smile
he smiled as he looked at the sky "is the backpack ready?" he asked her and she gave a nod and gave him the backpack. "well lets go achieve a place of our own on this world where we can be at peace" he said as they both walked off the cabin into the dense forest.

W/n: finally two or three weeks of work is finished i want a break since this will be a busy month for me because of school work will be piling up soon and i need to practice having a drawing tablet to make illustrations for this.
