"Right!"
Uchiha Gen nodded and continued, "I recently developed a perfected Eight Inner Gates technique along with a complementary Eight Gates Body Forging technique.
"The results are far superior to the basic body training technique I gave you all before. I suggest both of you train in it."
He gestured toward the group, addressing his father Uchiha Chiichi, his brother Uchiha Hiroshi, and Uchiha Mikoto.
"My advice?" Gen added, "Train hard. It'll pay off."
With that, Gen raised his hand and transmitted the techniques directly into their minds through spiritual energy.
The group closed their eyes, digesting the information. Moments later, Uchiha Mikoto's eyes widened in awe.
"This is incredible!" she exclaimed. "The Eight Gates Body Forging technique is leagues above the old training method! The growth potential is massive! Thank you, Gen!"
Uchiha Chiichi stroked his chin thoughtfully.
"This... this perfect Eight Inner Gates is a deadly trump card. In a crisis, it could be a game-changer."
His gaze shifted back to his son.
"You got this technique from Might Dai, right?"
Chiichi knew about Might Dai and his son, Might Guy, especially after learning they were allowed access to Uchiha's secret pharmacy. His curiosity had led him to investigate further.
"That's right," Gen confirmed. "Uncle Dai's Eight Inner Gates was the foundation. Although what they trained in before was only my improved version, this new perfected technique is leagues better.
"They've been working hard on the new version too. With time, their strength will skyrocket — Might Dai will easily reach high Jōnin level, and Guy... well, he's something special. Kage-level combat power won't be out of reach for him."
Chiichi's eyes widened in surprise.
"Kage-level? That's impressive."
He knew the father and son well enough to respect their dedication.
"By the way, what's the current situation with the Uchiha casualties under your command?" Gen asked.
Chiichi sighed, his expression darkening.
"Five are dead. One was severely injured — crippled. He can't continue as a ninja. The rest... well, they're battered but alive."
He paused before adding bitterly, "You haven't visited the Uchiha valley base yet, have you?"
Gen winced.
"Ah... right, I forgot. I'll check on them after this."
"Don't worry," he added quickly. "They won't starve. I stocked the place with enough supplies to last months. Plus, I left instructions for what to do."
Chiichi shook his head with a wry smile.
"Fine... but there's one thing I need to ask. Can you take a look at that injured man?
"He's not dead, but he's barely surviving — I can't help but feel it's worse than dying on the battlefield. If he had just died... the Death Talisman would've saved him."
Chiichi's frustration was clear.
Gen's face turned serious.
"I'll think about it," he promised. "Give me a little time to figure something out."
He knew this wouldn't be simple. Regular medical ninjutsu clearly wasn't enough — the fact that the camp's medics had already tried meant conventional methods had failed.
Gen considered his options:
Improve his medical ninjutsu.
Study and modify Lalulas' healing skills, enhancing their regenerative power.
Develop a specialized technique inspired by the Blue Silver Grass's regeneration ability — similar to the legendary "Spring Wind Revives the Wildfire" ability of the Blue Silver Emperor.
For now, he'd focus on what seemed most achievable.
"Don't push yourself too hard," Chiichi added. "Do what you can, but don't burn yourself out."
After spending time with his father, brother, and Mikoto, Gen teleported away, reappearing in the Uchiha valley base.
"Who's there?"
Several Uchiha guards leapt forward, tense and ready to fight.
"Easy!" Gen raised his hands, showing his face.
"It's me."
The guards relaxed, but their wariness didn't fully disappear.
"You're Uchiha Gen, right?" one asked. "Are you the one who left us that letter?"
"Yeah," Gen replied. "I'm here to check in on you all."
After calming the group, Gen gathered them and explained everything — how the Death Talisman had saved their lives and why they needed to remain hidden for now.
Uchiha Aoi, one of the group's leaders, stepped forward.
"So... we really died out there?"
"That's right," Gen said seriously. "The talisman reversed your deaths and teleported you here.
"I know it's hard, but for now, you'll have to stay in hiding."
Aoi exchanged looks with the others.
"So... our families think we're dead?"
"Unfortunately, yes," Gen admitted. "For now, you can't reveal yourselves... but I have a plan. With some training, you'll be able to change your appearances and even meet your families again — carefully, of course."
"You mean it?" one man asked, his voice shaky.
"Absolutely," Gen confirmed.
He explained the Breath Concealment technique, the Perfect Transformation technique, and the plans for them to integrate into Uchiha-run industries as undercover agents.
"It's not forever," Gen reassured them. "When the time comes, you'll reclaim your identities openly. But for now... we need to be careful."
The group accepted the news quietly, the weight of their circumstances sinking in.
"Alright," Aoi finally said. "If this is how we can protect our families... we'll do it."
"Good!" Gen grinned. "Now let's get to work."
He began teaching them the new techniques, personally passing on Breath Concealment, Transformation, and improved training methods.
To ensure security, he also implanted a spiritual seal in each of their minds, locking the techniques from being leaked or stolen.
Afterward, Gen stood alone, thinking.
This still isn't enough... I can't keep teleporting back and forth every time someone new arrives.
He needed a solution.
Back home, Gen locked himself in his workshop and began developing a specialized technique.
Hours later...
[You have combined sealing techniques, the Shadow Clone Jutsu, and spiritual illusion principles to create the Spiritual Transmission Array.]
[Spiritual Transmission Array]: A unique array that automatically transmits chosen techniques to anyone who enters, providing customized training while simultaneously applying a spiritual seal to prevent leaks.]
Gen grinned.
"Perfect."
He immediately engraved the array onto a durable stone emblem, carefully embedding bloodline detection, spiritual seals, and security features.
With that done, Gen returned to the Uchiha valley base.
"Master Gen! You're back!"
Aoi and the others hurried over.
"Alright," Gen announced, placing the engraved emblem into a secure chamber.
"This is the new training array. Any new arrivals can learn the techniques directly from this without me needing to be here."
Aoi bowed deeply.
"Understood. We'll make sure no one else accesses it without your approval."
Gen nodded in satisfaction.
Now this... this is progress.
