I only served the cakes in the plate." Gavi took a small pause, and added just when they frowned in confusion, "And I just added a little bit of salt and pepper. Don't you sometimes sprinkle it on our dishes, and say that it makes the taste better? I also want to make the taste even better." 


SILENCE! There was what they call stunned silence. 


No one spoke rather, they had their mouths parted speechless. And the Davis' family? They did not even know how to react. Salt and pepper?! No wonders their mouths were burning like that. And also the cake tasted so horrible.
