Ron soared through the skies, scanning the endless expanse below him. Despite being far above the clouds, he knew that this wasn't the summit of the world, not even close. Earth's Mount Everest stood at a formidable height of 8.8 kilometers, a towering peak that pushed the very limits of human endurance. But this place... this plateau stretched even higher. Formed atop a range of coalesced mountains, it existed at the razor edge of breathable atmosphere for normal people, a realm where, even in a world teeming with powerful ninjas like those in the Naruto universe, the bounds of a ninja's capability began to struggle after this point.
On Earth, the atmosphere extends up to 10,000 kilometers, eventually dissolving into the vacuum of space. But the world Ron now called home was different; larger, more imposing. With a diameter roughly 1.5 times that of Earth, this planet's circumference measured a vast 60,000 kilometers. It was a world where scale and altitude had a different meaning. Yet despite all these extraordinary numbers and facts, none of it truly mattered to Ron's current mission.
Hovering at a height of 10 kilometers, looking at the 9 kilometers high plateau enveloped in an ever-churning sea of thunderclouds, Ron paused in his flight. Below him, the massive plateau sprawled in silence, untouched and remote. He gazed down and murmured to himself, "This place is perfect… the ideal spot to build Korin Tower."
He envisioned the colossal structure in his mind, its foundations rooted in this lofty flooded plateau, its peak piercing through the clouds and beyond. "Time to speak to Ed," he muttered, descending through the storm. Ron thought, "He's got his hands full with the Research Center, but I'll need him to start manufacturing the structural segments."
His instructions were clear; the tower needed to be constructed from towering pole-like modules, each a kilometer tall. The poles would be thick, broad enough that four people could join hands and just about encircle one, like the barrier poles each would have an inner seal-ninjutsu core, to which Ron would add concealment barrier and other seals. The barrier seal was to protect the poles themselves, though. Each segment would be identical and modular, simplifying the construction. A hundred segments should be enough. Ron would personally carry them one by one using electromagnetic force to build this pole-like tower, something he hadn't practiced in a while.
"It'd be a lot easier if I had something like Golden Lion's Float-Float Fruit," he joked to himself, remembering the ability from the One Piece world that could make things levitate indefinitely.
Upon landing, he found Ed and relayed his plans. Ed, ever the curious mind, tilted his head. "Why do you need a tower like this here?" he asked.
Ron waved the question away casually. "I'm building a tower," he said with a smirk. "Let's call it the Storm Ascension Tower. You'll understand the meaning in time. For now, don't overthink it."
Then he added, "Also, there'll be another structure. It'll float, powered by a gravity seal. Naturally, it'll have both concealment and barrier seals, like the tower. I'll design it later, but it's not a priority right now."
Ed raised an eyebrow. "Another one? Does it have a name too?"
Caught off guard, Ron hesitated. Truthfully, he hadn't thought that far ahead. He sighed, conceding to the question. "Let's just call it Sage's Lookout," he said at last.
As he turned away, Ron chuckled to himself, thinking, "I'm basically recreating Dragon Ball structures but for the ninja world. Let's just keep the names simple and iconic; no need to overcomplicate things. Otherwise, it's just going to become a whole mess of lore that I don't have the time to explain, or can say, but maybe I can portray them later through other things."
