Chapter 82 - Ch 82. Upcoming Meeting

Two weeks had passed since Ron's first sparring session with Ay. In the following days, he continued attending family sparring sessions alongside Ay and Bee, with some of the village's Elite Jonin also present. These sessions proved invaluable. Ron absorbed everything, observing, analyzing, and integrating their techniques into his own growing style. Like a sponge, he soaked in their battle experience, refining his approach with each encounter. He wasn't merely mimicking, he was adapting, innovating, and crafting nuances in his style that reflected the realities of actual combat.

Now, within the depths of the Hollow Mountain Research Facility, Ron stood beside Ed, overseeing the latest advancements in space-time sealing techniques. His personal involvement over the last two weeks had accelerated the project significantly, drawing the attention of researchers and seal masters alike to work non-stop constantly achieving a small success.

The facility buzzed with activity, with discussions flowing between experts as they debated theories, tested applications, and documented breakthroughs. Ron listened, occasionally interjecting with insights that pushed their understanding forward, but Ron had already got what he wanted and would not help these people progress more, because he already understood the future directions, which he can implement on his own which will only be used personally. In Ron's opinion, for now, these people should think more and work hard so they can grow without Ron's help.

Yet, even as he immersed himself in the discussions, his mind drifted back to a conversation with his father from two weeks prior.

After their sparring session, the Third Raikage shared unexpected news.

"Ron," his father had said, his voice calm yet firm, "Tsunade has arrived at the capital. She's been enjoying herself, and your uncle, the Daimyo, has personally reached out to her. He made sure she understood our village's intentions. For now, she hasn't given an answer, neither agreeing nor rejecting our intentions. She seems intrigued by the Land of Lightning and has no immediate plans to leave."

The Third Raikage had paused, measuring his words before continuing.

"The Daimyo has assigned people to show her around, ensuring she experiences our land's best offerings. All expenses are covered, and even our stationed ninjas all over the land of lightning have been instructed to treat her with the utmost respect. No hostility. Only hospitality."

Ron had listened intently, understanding the implications. Tsunade was not just any guest, or just a Sannin, or a key figure in Konoha, and someone with immense influence, she was the walking medical saint. Her presence in the Land of Lightning, her willingness to stay, meant an opportunity.

"For now," his father had said, "she seems content to remain here for months. She's drawn to what she sees, and that works in our favor. The Daimyo has already made our stance clear, but in a month's time, we will hold a formal meeting in Kumogaure. A meeting where we discuss how the village will reshape its stance toward the world. The Land of Lightning is ready to reveal more, and with that, we must be ready to adapt."

Then, his father's gaze had settled on him, weighty and expectant.

"So, Ron, regarding all the ideas you've brought up about your personal business, the village's development, and the changes you envision, prepare yourself. When the time comes, you will need to explain them in full detail."

Amidst the brilliance of the Hollow Mountain facility, Ron sensed the pivotal moment drawing near. The village stood on the brink of transformation, and he had a crucial role in shaping its future. Time was of the essence; he needed to act swiftly and approach his father and uncle to request land and development space for his new ideas. Persuading them was key, not only to gain their approval but to equip them, as public figures, with solid reasons to justify his proposals to others. After all, these changes would impact the entire country.
