"Be safe."
On the platform, William looked at Felix and told him worriedly. Despite being told that the school should be safe due to Dumbledore being there. The older man was worried about Felix since it seems it's not the first time someone launched an attack against him.
"I will be fine." Felix replied.
"Ok, now don't just study all the time. You have to have fun, play games or something. Don't hold yourself in the library or wear yourself out due to your gifts." William continued to say repeatedly.
"It will be fine, dad." Felix repeated.
"Remember to make friends." William continued. "Tell the professors if you have any problems. They might be able to solve them for you."
"I know." Felix replied.
Felix wasn't very confident in that regard since a few of the professors were wary of him or didn't seem to like him. However, he didn't want to mention that since he was more afraid of what the magicals would do if William tried to make a fuss. The Wizarding world is in a war and if a non-magical were to make even a light fuss in it, nothing good would come of it. Even now, William has a few auror around him due to the repercussions of Christmas.
"Please be careful. Even if some might not be blood purists, most magicals won't care." Felix whispered.
"Don't worry I will be fine." William answered.

After getting on the train, Felix soon found John and not long after Angel came to them. Where they got a compartment to themselves. During which both of them looked Felix over and John even poked him.
"You're still alive." John straight up stated.
"Are you trying to curse me?" Felix looked at him.
"No," John shook his head.
"I tried to visit you at the hospital but wasn't allowed in." Angel said.
"Same for me." John nodded.
"Well, the Aurors weren't sure if they would try again, so even my father could barely visit. Each time the nurse or healer came in they were searched and questioned. By the time I was released, I don't know who was more relieved, me or the healers at St. Mango." Felix explained.
"Isn't that a bit much?" John asked. "It seems to be a bit over the top."
"I thought so, but it seems that this was one of the bigger hits that the terrorist had in recent months. An auror called Moody said they tend to have various means to escape. Hence catching them is always tricky." Felix answered.
"The newspaper only said four were caught." John said.
"It's a bit worrying isn't it." Felix nodded. "Well, due to Barty Crouch policy, most of the ones they try to capture don't go down without a fight. Hence they are put down permanently more often than not. For it isn't a school yard fight and the curses used aren't simple hexes that are easily fixable."
"Then how did you survive?" Angel asked with a bit of worry.
"Luck." Felix said seriously.
Both Angel and John gave him strange faces as he said that. In the end it truly was luck that he survived. How else was he supposed to say it when he only was seriously learning for a few months while they were learning for years? He wasn't like the transfer student nearly a century ago.
"So onto a lighter topic. My father wanted to buy a pair of reading glasses from you. Is that possible?" Angel changed topics.
"Of course. Selling these trinkets is my idea of paying through school. So I will always welcome someone who wants to buy it." Felix smiled as he brought out a small notebook. "So which model does he want?"
"I don't know. I will send him an owl tonight to ask since he didn't know if it was possible." Angel lightly blushed from embarrassment.
"That is fine." Felix nodded as he went to put away his pen.
"My family also wanted to buy a pair. My grandfather wants a pair that lasts three years and can triple the reading speed. My brother and his girlfriend want one that lasts a year with double the speed. They wanted longer and faster pairs but can't afford it currently." John said.
"Ok. I will get started on them when we get to school. Do they have any frame models they prefer?" Felix made a note. "I will ask for you to get the deposit within the next few days and the rest when the glasses are prepared."
"My grandfather wants the round frames while my brother and his girlfriend want the rectangle frames."
Felix nodded as he made the note. He was a bit happy since he will have more coins to fund himself in research and paying for school. After all, while William was willing to pay, the conversion of non magical currency to magicals isn't the greatest.

After chatting with his friends as the train made a few stops along the way to pick up students at different stations. The train had finally arrived at the Hogsmeade Station and they made their way to the castle. It wasn't until Felix saw the stairs did his mouth stop smiling.
"My old nemesis, we meet again." Felix as he looked at the flight of stairs.
"I'm surprised you made it this far on your own." John said. "You usually would be carried by now."
""I'm not that bad." Felix defended himself.
Felix confident mood didn't last long as he felt the torture of the first night of Hogwarts all over again. Slowly dragging his feet up the steps, he wanted to lay on the ground upon finally reaching the floor for Gryffindor Dorms.
"See I made it." Felix said proudly.
"Felix, you still got one more flight of stairs to go." John pointed out.
"This isn't the right floor?"
"No, you took the short staircase on the third floor so we only reached the sixth floor." Angel shook her head. "That short staircase was to get onto the elevated section on that floor."
"Should I learn a teleportation spell?" Felix drew circles in the ground as an illusionary rain cloud formed over him. "I wouldn't get as lost as much then right?"
"Apparition isn't allowed in Hogwarts and illegal until we are older." Angel shot that idea down.
"I didn't mean Apparition, but a different way to teleport." Felix declared proudly.
"Wouldn't it be easier to learn a spell to direct your way to your destination?" John pointed out.
"I will just make a compass tomorrow before working on my next gadget to sell." Felix sighed. "Now help me."
John sighed and picked Felix up and threw him over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. Then they soon made it to the Gryffindor Dorm and Felix was sat down and proudly strolled into the common room. Almost like it was an achievement that he almost managed to walk there on his own.
"You spoil him too much." Angel told John.
John just turned away and didn't say anything.
