"Matias…" Aleksasha reached out to touch the massive wolf's shoulder. Every muscle beneath the fur tensed and bristled as icy blue eyes turned to stare at her. They stopped as his ears pricked at her touch. Uncertain, she ran her hand over the thick silver fur between his shoulders and waited for his response.
"… What happened to you to make you… you said you've never done this before. So why now?" She asked, knowing he was unable to answer her.
His eyes gleamed with understanding as he nudged her hand.
She furrowed her brows as she tried to understand what the gesture meant. "…this has something to do with me?" Her hand worked upward to the back of his neck, working through the softness of the fur as she tried to infer his meaning. "You said that magic reacts to magic. Part of what you said about how we could awaken my abilities by feeding and drawing into one another, spiritually?"
