"Yes, it's unheard of but the sect leader found it by chance and my disciple turned out to have an affinity with fire so I gave it to him 3 days ago. Previously, when we had dinner together a few years back, the drunk sect leader mentioned that spiritual qi vary from person to person; some would have qualities of fire, water, etc. if you remember."

The three of them nodded and Duan Li answered, "If I remember correctly, the 2nd Elder should be water, whilst me and Gao An are wind. But what about…"

Duan Li suddenly stopped mid-sentence having thought of what possible words might come from Han Yi, "Are you saying that after receiving the fire cultivation technique three days ago, First Elder's Disciple deduced it and created the cultivation techniques of the other elements?!"

Qin Fu and Gao An also couldn't help but put on an expression of shock. Although Tian Ye had proved himself by creating a chant-based cultivation technique before, isn't creating an elemental cultivation technique in addition to that, a bit too exaggerated?!

There had been no precedent about chant-based cultivation technique but it simply made it easy for those who are not used to absorbing spiritual qi in the beginning but creating a cultivation techniques from scratch just because he understood a fire cultivation technique?!

Yang Feng who was originally sprawled onto the couch suddenly appeared besides Han Yi's desk and took a sip of tea from Han Yi's cup, "Right? I thought so too, if I wasn't a Qi Condensation Realm Expert who could detect someone's body age based on senses that had been heightened, I'd think that an old immortal is playing us for a fool."

"Sect Leader." Qin Fu greeted with a slight respectful nod but then asked, looking at the 3 manuals on the table, "Are these usable? They aren't simply theories?"

Han Yi nodded understanding Qin Fu's worry, and reassured, "I've also thought of it but if you read it, you should know whether it's usable or not."

Qin Fu then picked up the manual in front of him with a tinge of expectation.

'It'll be good if it actually is usable.'

Gao An and Duan Li also picked up theirs and as they read, the expressions on their faces were filled with awe.

Qin Fu, who had finished reading before Gao An and Duan Li closed the manual and then sighed, "That child is really a genius. Although it was crudely written, the logic behind them is impeccable."

Gao An and Duan Li also agreed although they had only read through their wind manuals halfway. They didn't find any flaws in the logic behind them. If the sect leader, the first elder, and the second elder agrees that it works, it's already guaranteed that it works.

"I know, I've read it and as my, Han Yi's disciple, it's natural." Han Yi bragged, his nose held high.

Qin Fu, Gao An, and Duan Li's lips twitched but didn't say anything.

In their minds, they were filled with the thoughts, 'It was your disciple who did it, why are you so proud?!'

Although they thought of this, if it was their disciple that did something like this, they would also brag. They were just a little bitter about Han Yi's bragging. Only a little!

Han Yi, getting to the matter at hand, clapped his hands and said, "Alright, all three of you, you should learn to sense the elemental spiritual qi in accordance with your affinities first then convert the neutral spiritual qi to your respective elements to increase the overall strength of the sect. We don't know when the sect leader might go out to escape and have fun."

The three elders nodded and hurriedly excused themselves, they were also looking forward to having elemental spiritual qi.

They wondered how it felt to have an elemental spiritual qi and how much would it increase their strength.

Han Yi turned towards the Yang Feng who was drinking his cup of tea shamelessly and asked, "Are you going to convert yours too? Sect Leader?"

"Well… you kids... go on ahead. I have lots of lifespan to spare so I'll take my time."

Hearing Yang Feng's words that was blatant bragging about his long lifespan compared to them, Han Yi couldn't help but frown in displeasure but this was the result of the sect leader's hard work in his cultivation and he had the right to brag about it.

With his current cultivation, he can indeed take his time. Furthermore, when they met the sect leader, he looked like this but they, the children, who were provided with resources, a cultivation technique and martial arts techniques were already wilting with the passage of time looking older and older.

Han Yi decided to also focus on his cultivation for now and less with the matters of the sect, he was already at the peak of the 9th Layer of Qi Refinement Realm, a step into entering the Qi Condensation Realm, all he needed was an opportunity.

He wanted to convert his neutral spiritual qi into earth spiritual qi first before he breaks through so he gains more power compared to other Qi Condensation Realm cultivators at the same level and be able to become a sturdy pillar of the sect if the sect leader wasn't around.

His disciple, although he taught him a little, he was a genius. Even if he didn't teach him, someone else would or he'd learn on his own and still succeed spectacularly and as a genius, who finds all sorts of ways to get stronger, and who takes in all the opportunity into getting stronger, he will not stay at this place that even he, as his master, thinks that this place was too small for Tian Ye.

In the future, when his realm has reached the same level as him, he would probably... no, he'd be one hundred percent be wandering the world looking for opportunities to get stronger, obtaining artifacts, and obtaining answers to the questions in the minds of most cultivators.

Yang Feng who was sipping tea casually, slightly smiled, sending a meaningful gazes at Han Yi's back, then nodded before disappearing into thin air as soon as put the tea cup on top of the table.

With Tian Ye along with the elders focusing on their cultivation, a month passed quickly as usual.

Tian Ye, who was inside the Seclusion Cave couldn't help but exhale in disappointment, 'After a month, I only successfully converted between 40-45%? It's not bad but still…'

At this time, Han Yi, who checked on Tian Ye once a week arrived and as he saw Tian Ye's crestfallen expression, he couldn't help but chuckle and say, "Tian Ye, wanna spar?"

Tian Ye, who had just eaten a fasting pill, turned his attention to Han Yi and without too much thinking, stood up, grabbing the sword on the side along with him, "Let's go, master."

Han Yi was a little surprised with Tian Ye's immediate reply but nodded with a smile.

'Looks like my disciple's looking for a change of pace. Which is normal, after all, he had cultivated for a month straight.'

Even if he didn't see it himself, Tian Ye most likely only stopped converting his neutral spiritual qi into fire spiritual qi when he came by to visit once a week.

Upon arrival at the fighting stage, Tian Ye hurriedly attacked with his sword the moment Han Yi armed himself with a tree branch as a weapon.

Clang!

Han Yi who strengthened the tree branch with spiritual qi was able to caught it in ease but as he caught it, he couldn't help but say in displeasure, "How impatient and rude!"

Tian Ye ignored his words and pushed down his sword towards Han Yi's choice of weapon then he used the momentum to push himself backwards, rolling in the air.

As his feet reached the ground, he attacked once again with an instant spiritual qi boost to his feet that made him seem like he had disappeared due to the incredible speed he moved.

Clang!

Sparks from two metals clashing became visible within the fighting stage and blue lights occasionally flickered as well.

"Your attacks are too direct! You don't need to pull back every time before attacking again, you have to make sure to connect your attacks!" Han Yi advised with a stern face.

Tian Ye didn't speak but took Han Yi's advice to mind and began to attack again, he moved again with the boost of spiritual qi and directly appeared in front of Han Yi.

As he appeared below Han Yi, with his right hand, he slashed upwards diagonally from his left channeling spiritual qi to his sword.

"First Form of the Flowing River Sword Technique, Drifting Current."

Blue crescent shaped slash soon appeared in the air, slashing nothing as Han Yi dodged by taking a slight step to the side.

"Not bad but not good enough!" Han Yi harshly said, slashing his tree branch towards Tian Ye's neck.

The speed of Han Yi's strike was still too fast for Tian Ye to react so he could only receive the brunt of the attack, his teeth gritting in pain, and his body relaxing to be sent flying easier.

After being sent flying in mid-air, he pointed the direction of the tip of his sword towards Han Yi on the ground with laser focus.

Spiritual qi began to condense at the tip of the sword, it wasn't too big, it was only the size of rice grain but with a thrust, it expanded to a few centimeters in diameter, and stretched out a total of 3 meters reaching up to where Han Yi was standing.

"Second Form of the Flowing River Sword Technique, Turbulent Wave."

Han Yi's eyes widened slightly from surprise but dodged to the side with a slight grin on his face, proud of his disciple's talent.

"That was a pretty good Turbulent Wave but... it's still too easy to dodge."

Boom!

The pace started to gain momentum as Tian Ye started to get on offensive again.

One sword clash, two sword clash, three swords... the original occasional swords parries changed and continues sword clashes began to resound throughout the fighting stage with sparks from metals clashing and blue light flickering from spiritual qi usage.
