Logan watched Selina racking her brain, piling on compliments about Rowan. He suddenly leaned down.
"Mrs. Reid, do you know Rowan's real identity?"
In the design world, most people used an alias when releasing work—Rowan was obviously not a real name. And she didn't know who he truly was.
But did that matter?
She just wanted Logan to feel what it was like to have a rival.
"Of course I do!" Selina lied with confidence. "Rowan's real identity is the CEO of a publicly listed company. Took over at eighteen. Ruthless, brilliant. Nobody believed in him at first, but now he's the top dog—what he says goes."
Logan raised a brow, amused.
If her eyes hadn't betrayed her, he might've believed she really knew.
"Rowan" was the name Logan used years ago when he first returned to the Reid Family and quietly submitted a few jewelry sketches. Back then, he'd met a stubborn, passionate teenage girl—barely fifteen—who begged to learn design. So he'd taught her a bit.
