All they know is that he is the meddlesome archer who made them perform poorly. Now that they could see him face to face, they felt that this was an opportunity to finally confront him.
In the test, they only thought his arrows were terrifying. They couldn't shoot arrows that could threaten him from across 1 kilometer, and anytime they wanted to swim over to him, he would just pick them off in the water.
They had a lot to say about what he did to them to him now that they could reach him. So they approached him to give him an earful.
It was all they could do, though. They could only talk. Anything more than that would lead to punishment.
Unfortunately, Arthur wasn't in the mood to listen. He just wanted to return to the ship and relax.
