"It's our turn," the individual beside Grey said, his voice cutting through the air. Grey turned to look at him.
"Whatever," Grey replied, a nonchalant tone in his voice as he walked forward, his hands buried deep in his pants pockets.
The young man, his curly black hair bouncing with every confident step, flashed a strange, almost predatory smile as he followed.
As they walked toward the front of the coliseum, whispers rippled through the crowd of participants.
"Isn't that the peasant who did those flashy moves in the first assessment?"
"Yeah! Honestly, he was pretty impressive."
"No doubt, but he's still a peasant."
"I really hope he loses this assessment. I don't want any peasants near me at the academy."
"Same here. Can't stand the thought of breathing the same air as one."
"I'd rather they just disappeared."
