Chapter 96
A week passed since Grey and Elara came back to the human world. Although he said he would only allow Elara to stay for the night—provided Jesse and Clara permitted it—that night slowly turned into a day. From a day to several days, and then a full week.
Every single day, Clara or Jesse always found an excuse to make Grey leave Elara with them for a while. And since he couldn't say no to them, he always let it be. But today, he finally decided it was time to take Elara to the "safe place" he had prepared for her.
Grey stood beside Elara, who had teary eyes as she watched Jesse cry. During the week, they had all bonded well, with Elara feeling like a fourth member of their family.
Jesse considered her an elder sister, although she still referred to her as her "demon aunty." But Elara's loving nature finally made Jesse warm up to her, and they became closer than before, with Clara also treating her like family.
