"I'm not going to lie..." Evangeline muttered, waving her fork around. "This food sucks."
Neraxis sighed. "I agree... For a restaurant with multiple honors, it sure serves piss-poor food. But maybe the next dish is better?"
"You've been saying that for the last hour." Evangeline giggled. "I think I have a way to spice it up though."
As she finished speaking, Evangeline suddenly leaned in and slashed her wrist. Immediately, blood flowed down onto his steak, covering it entirely.
Neraxis raised a brow and, without even wasting a moment, dug in.
To his surprise, it was actually delicious now, mainly due to Evangeline's blood, but it really made him think.
My palate isn't fucked, right? What if I can't eat normal food?
"You should be able to. I definitely can," Evangeline remarked. "Some food is just worse than others."
"Well... Do you want to get out then?" Neraxis suggested. "Unless you want to finish the rest of the food? I can give you my blood too."
