Rudaraksh stood at the door, adjusting his tie, ready to leave for the office. As he glanced towards Aarohi, who was busy gathering her bag for college, his eyes froze on her. She looked effortlessly beautiful in her casual jeans and top, her hair cascading around her face like a soft halo. For a moment, he forgot everything—the ticking clock, the world outside.
Unable to resist, he approached her. Aarohi, oblivious to his gaze, flinched slightly when he gently touched her arm. Turning towards him, her curious eyes met his, only to be greeted with a warm, genuine smile.
"You look... stunning," he murmured, his voice carrying a soft huskiness. Aarohi's cheeks flushed a faint pink, a shy smile tugging at her lips. Before she could respond, Rudaraksh leaned in, placing a soft, quick kiss on her cheek. The unexpected gesture left her speechless, her hand instinctively touching the spot he'd kissed.
"Rudar!" she exclaimed, half-surprised, half-embarrassed, her wide eyes staring at him. He chuckled, his voice light and teasing. "Couldn't help it," he said with a wink. Get down fast I will be waiting. "
Rudaraksh waited patiently downstairs in the living room, sipping his coffee. Aarohi's father-in-law was seated nearby, engrossed in a newspaper, while Aarushi flitted about, ensuring everything was in order before starting her day. When Aarohi descended the stairs, all eyes turned to her.
Her father-in-law smiled warmly. Beta , you look wonderful. Have a great day at college." Aarushi added with a playful smile, "You're going to turn heads at college today!" Aarav, adjusting his backpack, gave a thumbs up. "Ready to leave, Bhabhi maa!?"
Aarohi blushed at the unexpected shower of compliments but managed to thank them all gracefully. After exchanging goodbyes, Aarav and Aarohi stepped out, joined by her father-in-law, who was headed to a meeting.
As they reached the driveway, Rudaraksh stepped forward. I'll drop you today," he said firmly. . Aarohi glanced at Rudaraksh, a mix of surprise and appreciation on her face, but said nothing as he opened the car door for her.
The ride to college was filled with light chatter, with Rudaraksh occasionally glancing at her. When they reached the college gate, he pulled the car to a stop and turned to her.
"If there's any problem, sunshine, no matter what it is, call me," he said, his tone protective and sincere. Aarohi nodded, her heart warming at his concern. As she was about to step out, Rudaraksh leaned in and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead.
"Take care," he murmured. Aarohi smiled softly, stepping out of the car. As she walked towards the entrance, she could feel his gaze on her, and she turned back once, giving him a small wave before disappearing into the crowd.
Rudaraksh stayed there for a moment, a faint smile playing on his lips, before driving off to his office, his thoughts lingering on her the entire way.
She went inside college as Tara was waiting for her They hugged each other and went to attend their class.
At Rudaraksh office,
In his cabin,His PA entered sir ,you have meetings in half an hour, Rudaraksh Nooded and told him to prepare for it as he will not tolerate any mistake it.
After the meeting,
Rudaraksh sat in his office, his fingers tapping restlessly on the edge of his desk. He picked up his phone and dialed Lalit, his most trusted associate in the mafia. The call connected within seconds.
"Lalit," Rudaraksh began, his voice calm but carrying an edge of impatience. "Did you get any updates about Shivika? "
On the other end, Lalit hesitated. "No, boss. There's no solid information about her yet. It's like she's vanished without a trace."
Rudaraksh's jaw tightened in frustration, but before he could speak, Lalit continued. "But... there's something else. Something I came across during the investigation."
"What is it?" Rudaraksh demanded, his voice dropping into a deadly calm.
"It's about Mam parents' accident," Lalit said, his tone serious. "It wasn't an accident... it was planned."
The words hit Rudaraksh like a thunderbolt. His hand gripped the edge of the desk so tightly his knuckles turned white. His calm facade shattered as he shot up from his chair, his voice rising. "What did you just say? Planned? Who the hell was behind it?"
Lalit stammered, sensing the anger radiating from his boss. "I-I don't know yet, boss. But I'll dig deeper. I promise I'll find out who's responsible."
Rudaraksh's mind raced, a storm of emotions surging within him. Anger, disbelief, and concern for Aarohi swirled together. "Find out everything, Lalit. Every damn thing. I want names, motives, and how it was done. And I want it fast!"
"Yes, boss," Lalit replied, his voice firm now, knowing there was no room for failure.
"And don't forget Shivika," Rudaraksh added, his tone sharp. "I want every detail about her. No stone unturned, Lalit. I need answers."
"I'll get on it right away," Lalit assured him before the line went dead.
Rudaraksh sank back into his chair, his mind troubled. The revelation about Aarohi's parents made his blood boil, but his priority was protecting her. Whatever darkness surrounded her past, he was determined to uncover it—and destroy anyone who dared to harm her or her family.
