Chapter 115 - wolf-fox like ears

Father smiled and looked at Mother. "Want to know how big food that can fit into my mouth without chewing?"

Mother shook her head. "Aetherius no!"

But Father chuckled. "It will be alive one or two!" He left to get something really massive.

I watched in a mix of awe and horror as Father disappeared from the cave entrance, his laughter echoing outside. "What is he doing?" I asked Mother, feeling a shiver run down my spine.

Mother shook her head, a mixture of amusement and concern on her face. "Your father is going to try to swallow something massive alive, isn't he?"

I nodded, remembering his words. "He said it would be one or two... whatever that means."

Mother sighed. "It means we're in for a show. Or a mess. Possibly both."

We waited in anticipation, wondering what Father had planned and what kind of creature he would bring back to attempt to swallow whole.

As we waited, the cave grew quiet, the only sound being the distant rumble of Father's laughter and the occasional rustling of the wind outside. Mother and I exchanged a look, both of us wondering what kind of creature Father would bring back.

Suddenly, the sound of crashing and thrashing echoed from outside the cave. Mother's expression turned serious. "It seems your father has found something."

I swallowed hard, my heart racing with anticipation and a touch of fear. What kind of creature would Father bring back? And would he actually manage to swallow it whole?

The crashing grew louder, and I could feel the ground shaking beneath my feet. Mother stood up, her eyes fixed on the cave entrance. "Let's go see what your father has gotten himself into."

I followed her, my curiosity getting the better of me. As we stepped out of the cave, I was met with a sight that took my breath away. Father was standing in the distance, a massive creature thrashing and struggling in his grasp.

The creature in Father's grasp appears to be a massive behemoth, its body a blur of fur and muscle as it thrashes and struggles to break free. The behemoth's eyes are wild with fear, and its jaws are open wide, revealing rows of sharp teeth.

Father's eyes gleam with excitement as he holds the behemoth in place, his massive claws digging deep into its flesh. He's clearly determined to swallow the creature whole, but it's unclear if he'll succeed.

The air is filled with the sound of the behemoth's panicked bellows and the creaking of Father's jaws as he prepares to make his attempt. Mother and I watch in a mix of awe and horror, unsure of what the outcome will be.

I noticed that Father brings 2 behemoths. "Are you sure there will be no problem?" I question.

Mother's eyes widened in surprise as she took in the sight of Father holding two massive behemoths. "Well, I think 'problem' might be an understatement," she said dryly.

I couldn't help but feel a sense of trepidation as Father grinned, clearly excited about his plan. "Oh, this is going to be interesting," Mother muttered, her voice laced with a mix of amusement and concern.

The two behemoths thrashed and struggled in Father's grasp, their massive bodies writhing and twisting in an attempt to break free. It was clear that Father's plan was ambitious, to say the least.

Father began to gulp one behemoth whole without a bite.

The sight was both mesmerizing and stomach-churning. Father's jaws stretched wide, and he engulfed the behemoth in one swift motion. The creature's massive body slid down Father's throat, its legs and tail disappearing from view.

As Father began to swallow, his throat bulged and rippled, accommodating the enormous size of the behemoth. Mother and I watched in awe, our eyes fixed on the spectacle.

The behemoth's struggles grew weaker and weaker, its body slowly being absorbed into Father's digestive system. Father's expression was one of satisfaction, his eyes gleaming with pleasure.

And then, Father turned his attention to the second behemoth...

The first behemoth arrived in his father's stomach, and his belly bulging enormously, and it kicked and squirmed, trying to get out but couldn't.

The sight was both fascinating and unsettling. Father's stomach was a massive, churning cauldron, with the behemoth's body visible as a large lump that kicked and squirmed beneath his scales. The behemoth's struggles grew more frantic, its movements causing Father's belly to bulge and ripple in ways that seemed almost impossible.

Father's expression remained calm, but I could sense a hint of amusement in his eyes as he watched the behemoth's desperate attempts to escape. The digestive process had begun, but it was clear that it would take a considerable amount of time for Father's stomach to break down the behemoth's massive body.

For now, the behemoth's bulk remained intact, its skin and muscles resisting the digestive juices. Father's stomach would eventually wear it down, but until then, the behemoth's struggles would continue, creating an otherworldly spectacle beneath Father's scales.

Father, look at the 2nd behemoth. "Your turn!" He said.

The second behemoth let out a deafening bellow as Father's jaws opened wide, ready to engulf it whole. The creature tried to struggle and escape, but Father's grip was too strong. With a swift motion, Father gulped down the second behemoth, its massive body sliding down his throat.

My eyes widened in amazement as Father's belly began to bulge even further, the two behemoths now visible as massive lumps beneath his scales. The sight was both incredible and somewhat terrifying, and I couldn't help but wonder how Father's body would handle the digestion of not one, but two massive behemoths.

I look at Mother "Mother?" I said.

Mother's expression was a mix of amusement and concern as she gazed at Father's bulging belly. "I think your father might be in for a bit of a digestive challenge," she said dryly.

We both watched as Father seemed to savor the moment, his eyes gleaming with satisfaction. Mother leaned in closer to me and whispered, "Let's just hope he doesn't have any... unpleasant surprises later on."

I nodded in understanding, knowing that Father's antics often came with unexpected consequences.

Father, look at us. "So what do you think?!" His eyes gleaming.

Father's eyes sparkled with pride and amusement as he gazed at us, his belly bulging with the two behemoths. "So, what do you think?" he repeated, clearly eager for our reaction.

Mother raised an eyebrow, a hint of a smile playing on her lips. "Well, I think you've certainly made a statement, Aetherius," she said, her voice laced with a mix of admiration and wariness.

I couldn't help but chuckle at Father's antics, shaking my head in amazement. "You're definitely one of a kind, Father," I said, grinning at him.

Father grunted. "Good since these behemoth are still kicked and squirm their way out!"

Father's grunt was followed by a slight grimace as the two behemoths continued to struggle and kick inside his stomach. The movements caused his belly to bulge and ripple in even more extreme ways, and I could sense a hint of discomfort beneath his triumphant expression.

"Ah, yes," Mother said, her voice tinged with a mixture of amusement and concern. "Perhaps you might want to find a comfortable spot to... digest, dear."

Father nodded, his eyes still gleaming with excitement, but also with a hint of wariness at the unpredictable nature of his latest meal.

I look at Lyriath, his navy-blue and dark and blood-red scales glimmer a bit. "Are you going to say something?!" I said.

Lyriath's eyes gleamed with interest as he watched Father's antics, his scales shimmering in the light. "Yeah, I'm going to say something," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Father, you're going to be digesting those behemoths for weeks. Just great."

He shook his head, a mixture of amusement and exasperation on his face. "Only you, Father."

The behemoths do as much as possible to burst out by kicking and squirming and pushing this gave Father wave of pain.

Father's expression suddenly contorted in pain as the behemoths intensified their struggles, kicking and squirming with renewed ferocity. His belly bulged and rippled even more wildly, and he let out a low, rumbling growl.

"Ah, maybe this wasn't the best idea," Mother said, her voice laced with concern, as she took a step closer to Father.

I watched, worried, as Father's discomfort grew, the behemoths' desperate attempts to escape causing him increasing pain.

Pov Aetherius

Owwww... these behemoths are quite the fighters. I thought swallowing them whole would be a fun and impressive feat, but now I'm not so sure. They're putting up quite a struggle, and my stomach is feeling the strain.

I grit my teeth, trying to endure the discomfort as the behemoths continue to kick and squirm inside me. Maybe I should have thought this through a bit more... but it's too late now. I'll just have to tough it out and hope my digestive system can handle these massive creatures.

Their body outline is very visible from my belly, and the pain is very agonizing.

Pov Tharros

I watched in a mix of concern and fascination as Father's belly continued to bulge and ripple with the behemoths' struggles. The outlines of their massive bodies were clearly visible beneath Father's scales, and it was clear that he was in significant discomfort.

"Father, maybe you should try to... calm them down or something?" I suggested, unsure of what else to say.

Mother shot me a sympathetic glance, her expression a mix of concern for Father's well-being and amusement at the absurdity of the situation.

Father rubbed his belly, hoping they'll calm down, but it just made it worse.

Father's attempt to rub his belly only seemed to agitate the behemoths further, causing them to thrash about even more violently. His face contorted in pain as the behemoths' movements became more frantic, their bodies twisting and turning beneath his scales.

"Ah, maybe not," Mother said dryly, wincing in sympathy with Father's obvious discomfort.

I couldn't help but wince too, feeling a bit worried for Father's well-being. This wasn't exactly going as planned.

As I approach Father, I can see the behemoths' struggles causing him significant discomfort. I gently tap his belly, but instead of calming them down, the behemoths' movements become even more frenzied.

The tapping seems to have an unexpected effect, and the behemoths' thrashing grows more intense, causing Father's pain to spike. His face contorts in agony as the behemoths' bodies twist and turn even more wildly beneath his scales.

"Ah, maybe not," Mother says, wincing in sympathy with Father's obvious distress. "That might not have been the best idea, Tharros."

The behemoths' intensified struggles caused Father's belly to bulge outward even further, stretching his scales to their limits. The sight was both alarming and mesmerizing, as if Father's stomach was about to burst.

Father's face turned red with strain, and he let out a pained growl, clearly at his limit. Mother rushed to his side, concern etched on her face.

"This might not be good," she muttered, eyeing Father's distended belly warily.

As Mother's words hung in the air, Father's belly continued to bulge ominously, the behemoths' struggles showing no signs of abating. Lyriath, who had been watching with a mix of fascination and concern, spoke up.

"Father, maybe you should try to... I don't know, get rid of them somehow?" he suggested, his voice laced with worry.

I watched, unsure of what would happen next, as Father's face turned an even deeper shade of red with strain.

The air was thick with tension, and it seemed like anything could happen.

Father question, "What do you mean by get rid of them?"

Lyriath hesitated, clearly unsure of how to phrase his suggestion. "Well, you know, Father, maybe you could... regurgitate them or something? I don't know, it just seems like they're not exactly agreeing with you."

Father's expression turned thoughtful, and he seemed to consider Lyriath's words. Mother, however, looked skeptical. "I'm not sure that's possible. You've never exactly been known for your... subtlety when it comes to eating."

Father shot Mother a look, but Lyriath's suggestion had clearly planted a seed of hope in his mind. He focused inward, trying to will the behemoths to move upward, rather than continuing to struggle deeper in his stomach.

As Father concentrated, his body began to tense and relax in a rhythmic pattern, his muscles working to try and dislodge the struggling behemoths. The room fell silent, with all of us watching Father's efforts with bated breath.

The 2 behemoths are now making father belly bulging outward as much as possible to burst out, and Father feels a massive wave of pain.

The behemoths' struggles intensified, causing Father's belly to bulge outward to an alarming degree. His scales stretched taut, and his skin looked like it was about to tear. Father's face contorted in agony as a massive wave of pain washed over him.

"Father!" Lyriath exclaimed, taking a step forward in concern.

Mother rushed to Father's side, her expression etched with worry. "Aetherius, we need to do something, now!" she urged.

The air was thick with tension as we all watched in horror, unsure of what would happen next.

The behemoths' movements became more frantic, and Father's body began to tremble with the effort of containing them. His eyes rolled back, and he let out a pained roar, the sound echoing through the air.

I felt a surge of fear, worried that Father might not be able to withstand the pressure. Lyriath's face was pale, and even Mother looked like she was at a loss for what to do.

Suddenly, Father's body jerked violently, and his mouth opened wide in a desperate bid to expel the behemoths. The room held its collective breath as we waited to see what would happen next.

Father belly quivering and shaking violently.

The sight was terrifying, Father's belly quivering and shaking with such force that it seemed like his entire body was going to tear apart from the inside out. The behemoths' struggles had reached a fever pitch, and Father's face was a twisted mask of pain and strain.

Mother's hands were clenched into fists, her knuckles white with tension, as she watched Father's agony. Lyriath looked like he was about to rush forward, but he seemed frozen in place, unsure of what to do.

I felt helpless, unable to do anything but watch as Father's body convulsed and quivered, the behemoths' movements growing more and more violent by the second.

The quivering grew more intense, and Father's body began to arch backward, his muscles straining to their limits. A low, rumbling growl emanated from his throat, a sound that was both pained and primal.

Suddenly, Father's body jerked violently, and a loud, explosive sound echoed through the air. The room seemed to hold its breath as we watched in horror. One of the behemoths burst out through Father's mouth, but it was still lodged in his throat, its massive body stuck halfway out, thrashing wildly as it struggled to free itself.

The sight was gruesome, with stomach acid and digestive juices spewing out around the behemoth's body, burning Father's skin and scales. Father's eyes bulged, and he let out a choked gasp, his body convulsing in agony.

Father force a big swallowed and it massive body went back to Father stomach and go back kicking and squirming and pushing.

With a Herculean effort, Father forced a massive swallow, and the behemoth's body was pushed back down into his stomach. The creature's thrashing form slid back down Father's throat, its struggles causing Father's belly to bulge and quiver once more.

The behemoth continued to kick and squirm inside Father's stomach, its movements just as violent as before. Father's face contorted in pain and discomfort, his body still reeling from the ordeal. Mother rushed to his side, concern etched on her face. "Aetherius, are you okay?" she asked, her voice filled with worry.

Father's response was a strained grunt, his eyes still screwed up in pain. He doubled over, his hands clutching at his stomach as if trying to hold the behemoth in place.

"Get...get something," he gasped, his voice barely above a whisper. "Something to...calm it down."

Mother's eyes darted around the room, searching for any possible solution. "I'll try to find something," she said, her voice firm with determination. "But hold on, Aetherius. Just hold on."

The 2 behemoths kicking and squirming grew more intense and stronger.

The behemoths' struggles became even more frenzied, their kicking and squirming growing more intense and stronger. Father's body convulsed and contorted, his face twisted in agony as he struggled to endure the torment.

Mother's expression turned grim, her eyes scanning the room frantically for any possible solution. "We need to act fast," she muttered, her voice low and urgent. "If we don't calm them down, I'm not sure how much longer Aetherius can withstand this."

The behemoths body is now even more visible, and I can see it claws and tails and head outline pushing inside father belly.

The behemoths' bodies were now starkly visible beneath Father's skin, their claws, tails, and heads outlined in gruesome detail as they thrashed and struggled inside his belly. It was as if they were trying to claw their way out, their movements becoming more and more violent by the second.

Father's face was a mask of agony, his eyes bulging with strain as he tried to endure the torment. Mother's face was set with determination, her eyes locked on Father as she searched for any way to alleviate his suffering.

Pov Aetherius

I'm at my breaking point. The behemoths are tearing me apart from the inside out, their claws and scales scraping against my internal organs. I can feel their hot breath on my stomach lining, their thrashing bodies causing me to convulse in agony.

I'm not sure how much longer I can hold on. The pain is overwhelming, and I feel like I'm going to lose my mind. I need to get them out, but how? I try to focus, to think of a way to expel them from my body, but the agony is making it hard to think straight.

The 2 behemoths push even further, making my belly bulging outward even further determined to burst out.

Pov Tharros

I look in horror as the behemoths try it best to burst out even more.

I look at Mother "Mother do something I don't know if my mind can handle it!"

Mother's eyes meet mine, and I see a mix of fear and determination in them. She takes a step forward, her hands outstretched towards Father. "Aetherius, hold on," she says, her voice firm but laced with worry. "I'll try to...I don't know, but I'll try something."

She looks around the room frantically, as if searching for some hidden solution. Her eyes land on a nearby cabinet, and she rushes towards it, flinging it open to reveal various bottles and containers. She grabs a few, muttering to herself as she searches for something specific.

"Mother, what are you doing?" I ask, my voice shaking slightly as I watch Father's body contort and bulge in ways that seem impossible.

Father belly scales creaked a bit.

The scales on Father's belly creaked and groaned, straining to contain the behemoths' violent struggles. The sound sent a chill down my spine, and I felt my anxiety spike. Would the scales hold, or would they shatter under the pressure?

Mother's hands moved swiftly as she prepared something, her face set in a determined expression. "Almost," she muttered, her eyes scanning the labels on the bottles. "I think I can mix something to...to calm them down, or at least give Aetherius some relief."

Father's body jerked again, and the scales creaked louder, the sound like fingernails on a chalkboard. I winced, feeling my heart racing with fear.

Another loud creak echoed through the air as Father's belly scales strained further, the behemoths' relentless thrashing pushing them to the breaking point. The sound was like a crack spreading through ice, and I felt my breath catch in my throat.

Mother's hands moved faster, her mixture of herbs and liquids bubbling over as she hastily poured it into a container. "Come on, come on," she muttered, her eyes fixed on Father's contorted form. "This has to work."

The creaking grew louder, more insistent, and I could see the scales beginning to fissure, tiny cracks spreading like a network of fine lines across Father's belly.

The behemoths almost burst out, and they stop all of us from looking at it and confused.

The behemoths' sudden halt sent a wave of confusion through the room. We all froze, unsure of what was happening next. The silence was palpable, heavy with anticipation.

Father's body seemed to relax slightly, the scales on his belly creaking softly as the pressure eased. But the stillness was unnerving, like the calm before a storm.

"What...what's happening?" I whispered, my eyes fixed on Father's motionless form.

Mother's gaze was locked on him too, her mixture forgotten in her hands. "I don't know," she replied, her voice barely audible. "But I think we should be prepared for anything."

Father, I'm a bit hesitant. "I think some of their body digested, and the stomach acid juice got in and killed them. I don't know, maybe they are dead?" He seems unsure.

Father's body remained still, the behemoths' sudden silence unsettling. I took a cautious step forward, my eyes fixed on his belly. The scales seemed to be...relaxed, almost.

"Maybe," Mother said slowly, her voice laced with uncertainty. "The stomach acid could have been too much for them. But we can't be sure."

We stood there, frozen in anticipation, waiting to see if the behemoths would stir again or if Father's body would remain still. The silence stretched out, heavy with possibility.

And then, Father's body let out a soft...gurgle? The sound was strange, almost like a mixture of digestion and...movement?

"Father?" I whispered, my heart racing with a mix of fear and curiosity.

The gurgle grew louder, and Father's belly began to shift, the scales creaking softly as something moved beneath them. Mother's eyes widened, and she took a step back, her hand flying to her mouth.

"It's...it's digesting them," she whispered, her voice trembling. "Father's body is digesting the behemoths."

I felt a shiver run down my spine as I watched Father's body slowly return to its normal shape, the scales smoothing out as the digestion process continued. The gurgle grew fainter, replaced by the soft sounds of Father's body functioning as usual.

But then, Father's eyes flickered open, and he took a deep breath. His gaze met mine, and I saw a glimmer of...something...in his eyes. Something that looked almost like...hunger?

I sighed "Father don't tell me you are hungry after all that! I can see it in your eyes, Father!"

Father's gaze locked onto mine, and he smiled, a low, rumbling chuckle emanating from his chest. "Ah, yes," he said, his voice a little rough from the ordeal. "I think I might be. Rather...famished, actually."

Mother's eyes widened in alarm. "Aetherius, you can't be serious. After what just happened?"

Father's smile grew, showing a hint of sharp teeth. "Dead serious, my dear. I think absorbing those behemoths has...whetted my appetite."

Mother loo at Father in anger. "AND WHAT DO YOU EVEN WANT TO EAT!" She yelled.

Father, look at Mother. "I don't know something like an orc or a golem or a big goblin!" He said.

Mother's face turned red with frustration. "You can't be serious! You're going to go out there and eat...people?!"

Father's expression turned sheepish, but his eyes still gleamed with hunger. "Well, not people, dear. Maybe orcs or goblins. They're not exactly...people."

I shook my head, feeling a mix of horror and amusement. "Father, you're impossible. First, you get infested with behemoths, and now you're craving monster snacks?"

Father chuckled, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Hey, a father's gotta eat, right?"

Father Belly went back to be flat, and Father gently got up and said "well look like I'm going to eat something!"

I watched in a mix of awe and trepidation as Father strode out of the room, his stomach flat and his appetite apparently insatiable. Mother and I exchanged a worried glance.

"I'll go with him," Mother said, her voice firm. "Make sure he doesn't get into trouble."

I nodded, feeling a sense of relief that Mother would be there to keep Father in check. "Be careful," I called out as they left the room.

As I stood there, I couldn't help but wonder what kind of trouble Father would get into next.

I stood there for a moment, listening to the sound of Father's and Mother's footsteps fading into the distance. The silence that followed was almost deafening.

Shaking my head, I decided to clean up the remnants of the chaos that had erupted earlier. I gathered the scattered bottles and containers, trying to make sense of what had just happened.

As I worked, I couldn't help but think about Father's strange new appetite. What would he find to eat? And what would be the consequences of his newfound hunger?

The sound of distant roars and screams echoed through the halls, making me pause. I sighed, knowing that Father was already finding trouble.

I continued cleaning, my movements methodical as I tried to push aside the worries about Father's new hunger. The roars and screams grew louder, and I could tell that Father was getting closer to whatever he had found.

Suddenly, the noise stopped. The silence was abrupt, and I felt a sense of unease. Had Father found what he was looking for?

I finished cleaning and made my way to the entrance of our dwelling, peering out into the surrounding area. That's when I saw Father, standing a short distance away, his albino scales glistening in the light.

He was looking at something on the ground, his expression...satisfied? I followed his gaze and saw the remains of a large, goblin-like creature. Father's hunger had been satiated, it seemed.

But as I looked at the creature's remains, I couldn't help but wonder what other creatures might be lurking in the area, and whether Father's new appetite would put us in danger.

A few minutes later, mother dragged father with a his bulging belly outward as he whimper in pain.

Mother's face was set in a determined expression as she dragged Father, his bulging belly clearly causing him discomfort. Father's whimpers turned into grunts as he stumbled along, his albino scales glistening with a faint sheen of sweat.

"Come on, Aetherius," Mother said firmly. "You need to get this digested. You can't just lie around with a belly full of...whatever that was."

Father groaned, his eyes squinting in pain. "Thyriatrix, it's killing me...I think I ate too much."

Mother's grip on Father's arm didn't waver. "You should have thought of that before you devoured that entire horde of goblins."

I look at Mother "Mother how much did father eat this time?" I question.

Mother glanced at me over her shoulder, her expression a mix of exasperation and concern. "Too much, Tharros. He ate at least a dozen goblins, maybe more. I'm surprised he didn't burst from the inside out."

I winced in sympathy for Father's discomfort. "I hope he can digest it all without any...complications."

Mother's gaze turned stern. "Me too, Tharros. Me too. Let's just hope he doesn't end up...regurgitating anything unpleasant."

Mother looks at Father, "and he also eats a few more 142 goblin and 2 orc and 14 golem!"

I stared at Mother, my eyes wide in shock. "Mother, are you serious?! Father ate almost 160 creatures?! That's...that's insane!"

Father looked sheepish, his face flushed with embarrassment. "I got a bit carried away, okay? I wasn't thinking."

I shook my head, trying to wrap my mind around the sheer scale of Father's appetite. "Carried away? You're going to burst, Father! Or worse, turn into a giant monster or something!"

Mother's expression was stern. "That's exactly why I'm dragging him around, Tharros. To help him digest all this...food."

Mother slammed father belly hard and father roar in pain and his belly jiggling and wobbled by the impact and Mother didn't bother to look at Father.

The sound of Mother's slap on Father's belly was loud and sharp, followed by Father's pained roar. His belly jiggled and wobbled violently, the impact causing his scales to ripple.

Father doubled over, clutching his stomach. "Thyriatrix, what was that for?!"

Mother didn't even glance at him, her expression unyielding. "You think a few slaps will teach you a lesson? You ate nearly 160 creatures, Aetherius. You're lucky I don't make you run laps around the entire territory."

Father winced, still clutching his belly. "I think that's exactly what you should do."

Mother's expression didn't change, but she nodded curtly. "Fine. We'll start with laps around the territory. And if you're lucky, you might just work off some of that...indulgence."

Father groaned, still bent over, but began to move forward, his belly jiggling with each step. Mother walked beside him, her eyes fixed on his back.

I watched them go, shaking my head in amazement. Only in our family... I sighed and turned to head back inside, wondering what other chaos the day might bring.

I laughing from the inside as Father grunts in pain by each step.

The sight of Father's discomfort was almost too much to bear, and I couldn't help but chuckle to myself as I watched him stumble along, his belly jiggling with each painful step. Mother's stern expression only added to the comedic effect.

I bit my lip, trying to stifle my grin, but it was no use. A small smile crept onto my face as I watched Father's misfortune. Serves him right for eating all those goblins, I thought with a snicker.

Father couldn't take it anymore and just lay down and rest.

Father collapsed onto the ground, his belly still jiggling from the impact of his fall. He let out a pained groan, his eyes closed in exhaustion.

Mother stood over him, her arms crossed. "Oh no, you don't get to rest yet, Aetherius. You're going to walk this off, or maybe even run."

Father's eyes flickered open, and he looked up at Mother with a pleading expression. "Thyriatrix, have mercy. I'm dying over here."

Mother's expression remained unyielding. "You should have thought of that before you ate nearly 160 creatures."

Father decided to ignore his mother and stay lay down.

Father closed his eyes and let out a deep sigh, ignoring Mother's instructions. He lay there, his belly rising and falling with each slow breath.

Mother's expression turned stern, and she walked over to Father. "Aetherius, get up. Now."

But Father just shook his head, his eyes still closed. "Can't. Too full. Need...digestion time."

Mother's voice dropped to a warning tone. "Fine. You want to play it that way? We'll see about that."

Mother's eyes narrowed, and she reached down to grab Father's tail. "You want to rest? Fine. But you're going to rest in a different way."

With a swift motion, she started dragging Father across the ground, his belly bouncing and jiggling with each rough movement. Father's eyes snapped open, and he let out a pained yelp.

"Thyriatrix, stop! You're going to hurt me!" he protested, trying to squirm away.

But Mother just kept dragging him, her grip unyielding. "You should have thought of that before you ate all those creatures."

Father belly quivering and shaking and jiggling insanely, and I couldn't help but laugh that Father got what he deserves.

The sight of Father's belly quivering, shaking, and jiggling wildly as Mother dragged him across the ground was almost too much to bear, and I couldn't help but burst out laughing. It was clear that Father was getting a taste of his own medicine, and I couldn't feel too bad for him.

Father's protests and pleas only added to the comedic effect, and I laughed even harder as I watched him being dragged away, his belly bouncing around like a mad thing. Serves him right for eating all those creatures, I thought, still chuckling.

As Mother continued to drag Father away, I couldn't help but follow them, still chuckling to myself. The sight of Father's belly jiggling and quivering with each rough movement was just too funny.

As we walked, the rest of the siblings began to emerge from the nest, curious about the commotion. Lyriath, Vyraxys, Nyxoria, Lyrixa, Kaidorix, Kieraxys, and little Niamon all gathered around, watching with wide eyes as Mother dragged Father along.

Some of the younger ones looked concerned, but others, like Kaidorix and Kieraxys, seemed to be enjoying the spectacle. "Ha! Father's getting punished!" Kaidorix exclaimed, giggling.

Kieraxys joined in, "Yeah! He's so silly!"

Niamon, the youngest, just babbled excitedly, not quite understanding what was happening, but happy to be part of the excitement.

Mother finally stopped dragging Father and let out a stern warning, "Aetherius, you need to learn to control your appetite. This is getting out of hand."

Father, still lying on the ground, looked up at Mother with a sheepish expression. "I know, Thyriatrix. I'll try to do better."

But I knew Father's words were empty, and Mother knew it too. It was just a matter of time before he got hungry again and went on another eating spree.

All my younger siblings except Kieraxys walk towards father.

The younger siblings, Lyrixa, Kaidorix, and Niamon, all toddled towards Father, their little legs moving quickly as they went to surround him. Lyrixa, with her rose-gold scales, reached out to touch Father's belly, which was still jiggling from the earlier dragging.

Kaidorix, with his forest-green scales, started poking Father's belly, laughing and saying "Boing! Boing!" as it jiggled.

Niamon, the youngest, just babbled and giggled, trying to climb onto Father's belly.

Kieraxys, on the other hand, stayed back with Lyriath, Vyraxys, and Nyxoria, watching the scene with a mixture of amusement and curiosity.

Father groaned, still lying on the ground, "Oh, kids...please don't make me laugh. My belly hurts enough already."

Father grunted "Thyriatrix can you please stop dragging me! Please, it hurt so much!"

Mother finally stopped dragging Father and stood over him, her arms crossed and a stern expression on her face. "Fine. You've had enough exercise for now. But don't think this means you're off the hook, Aetherius. We'll be having a talk about your eating habits later."

Father let out a sigh of relief as Mother's grip on him relaxed. He slowly sat up, his belly still jiggling and quivering from the earlier exertion. "Thank you, Thyriatrix. I think I learned my lesson."

But Mother just raised an eyebrow, skeptical of Father's words. "We'll see about that."

Lyriath and the others didn't leave the whole argument, and Kieraxys and I watched in the far.

Lyriath, Vyraxys, Nyxoria, and Lyrixa all stood together, watching the scene unfold with varying degrees of interest and amusement. Some of them looked concerned, while others seemed to be enjoying the spectacle.

Meanwhile, Kieraxys and I stood at a distance, observing the commotion with a more detached air. Kieraxys, being the curious 4-year-old that he is, looked fascinated by the sight of Father's belly jiggling and Mother's stern expression.

I, on the other hand, was still trying to stifle a grin, remembering the sight of Father's protests and pleas as Mother dragged him along. It was hard not to laugh at the absurdity of it all.

Kieraxys went right in front of me and slammed his head at my tough silver scales chest.

Kieraxys's copper scales glinted in the light as he charged at me, his little head butting against my chest with a soft thud. I chuckled and gently ruffled his hair, "Hey, little brother. What's got you so energetic?"

Kieraxys looked up at me with a big grin on his face, "Tharros! Tharros! Father's belly is so funny!" He giggled and butted his head against my chest again, seeking attention.

I laughed and scooped him up in a big hug, "Yeah, Father's belly is pretty silly, isn't it?"

Kieraxys smiled. "I like listening to your heartbeat. It makes a nice rhythm!"

I chuckled. "You been loving hearing my heartbeat since you were less the 1 year old and before you were able to talk!"

Kieraxys nodded enthusiastically, his eyes shining with delight. "Yeah! I love listening to your heartbeat, Tharros. It's so soothing."

I smiled, feeling a warmth in my chest. "I'm glad you still enjoy it, little brother. You're growing up so fast, it's nice to see you still cherish these little moments."

Kieraxys snuggled closer, his copper scales glinting in the light. "I love you, Tharros."

I hugged him tighter. "I love you too, Kieraxys."

I look at Father and the rest of our siblings and mother, who is still yelling towards Father for overeating again as Father belly still jiggled.

The scene before me was quite amusing, with Mother still scolding Father for his overeating, and Father's belly continuing to jiggle and quiver like a bowl of jelly. The rest of our siblings were watching with varying degrees of interest, some looking concerned, while others seemed to be enjoying the spectacle.

Lyriath and Vyraxys were exchanging amused glances, while Nyxoria and Lyrixa looked a bit worried. Kaidorix was giggling, clearly entertained by Father's predicament. Niamon, the youngest, was babbling away, oblivious to the commotion.

Meanwhile, Kieraxys was still snuggled up against me, watching the scene with wide eyes. I chuckled, feeling a sense of familiarity and warmth towards my quirky family.

My wolf-fox like ears perked up to listening their arguments.

My wolf-fox like ears perked up, and I tuned in to the argument between Mother and Father. Mother's voice was stern, "Aetherius, you need to control your appetite! You're going to burst one of these days!"

Father's voice was sheepish, "I know, Thyriatrix. I'll try to do better. But it's just so hard to resist all the delicious creatures out there."

I chuckled to myself, shaking my head. Father's love for food was legendary in our family. Kieraxys, still snuggled up against me, looked up at me with a curious expression, "What's funny, Tharros?"

I smiled "it too bad none of you have these wolf-fox like ears to be able to hear what is going on!"

Kieraxys looked at me with a mischievous grin, "Hehe, yeah! Our dragon hearing isn't as sharp as yours when it comes to picking up distant sounds, Tharros!"

I chuckled and gently nudged Kieraxys's scaled head with mine, "Well, someone has to have the sharpest hearing in the family, right?"

Kieraxys nodded enthusiastically, "Yeah! You're the best at eavesdropping ever, Tharros!"

I laughed and continued to listen in on Mother and Father's conversation, my dragon ears perked up and tuned in to every detail. As a Western dragon, my ears were slightly more pointed and had a more delicate structure, allowing me to pick up a wider range of sounds.

Kieraxys snuggled closer, enjoying the warmth and comfort of being near me as we watched our parents' antics.

I giggled "Yeah my ears do look more like wolf-fox like ears than normal dragons have!"

Kieraxys's eyes widened in agreement, "Yeah! Your ears are super cool, Tharros! They make you look like a dragon-wolf hybrid or something!"

I chuckled, "Well, maybe I'm just a unique snowflake, even among Western dragons."

Kieraxys giggled, "Yeah, you're the coolest dragon I know, Tharros!"

I smiled, feeling a warmth in my chest at Kieraxys's words. Being a bit different didn't bother me, especially when I had siblings like Kieraxys who appreciated me for who I was.

Kieraxys smiled. "I don't think there are dragons have ears like you, Tharros!"

I nodded "Yeah I guess when I hatch from an egg, I have these ears since hatch, but I don't know why I have these kinds of ears!"

Kieraxys's eyes sparkled with curiosity, "Maybe it's because you're special, Tharros! Maybe your ears are a sign of something awesome!"

I smiled, "Maybe you're right, little brother. I've never really thought about it too much, but it's nice to have something that makes me a bit different."

Kieraxys nodded vigorously, "Yeah! Your ears are the best, Tharros! And they're super good at hearing Mother scolding Father!"

I chuckled, "Yeah, I guess they're good for that too!" We both laughed, watching as Mother continued to lecture Father about his eating habits.

I chuckled. "And while all that was happening, the rest of our siblings just stayed quiet and even chuckled!"

Kieraxys giggled, "Yeah! Lyriath and Vyraxys were trying to stifle their smiles, and Nyxoria was looking all serious, but I could see the amusement in her eyes!"

I nodded, "And Kaidorix was practically bouncing with excitement, enjoying the show."

Kieraxys snorted, "Yeah, Kaidorix loves drama! And Niamon was just babbling away, oblivious to it all."

We both laughed, enjoying the lighthearted moment amidst our family's antics.

"And it looks like our siblings are all entertained by Mother's scolding of Father. Lyriath and Vyraxys are exchanging amused glances, Nyxoria and Lyrixa are trying to look stern but can't quite manage it, Kaidorix is giggling, and Niamon is just babbling away, happy as always." I said.

Kieraxys nodded, "Yeah! They're all having a good time watching Mother and Father's drama!"

I smiled, watching the scene unfold before us. "Yeah, it's pretty entertaining. But I think Father's getting the message, finally. Mother's not exactly subtle when it comes to her disapproval."

Kieraxys chuckled, "No kidding! Mother's face is turning redder by the second!"

I laughed, "Yeah, I think Father's about to get a serious lecture on dragon-sized portions."

Kieraxys, look up at my wolf-fox like ears. "Can I touch your ears? and see if it will react!" He asked.

I smiled and leaned down slightly, allowing Kieraxys to reach up and gently touch my wolf-fox like ears. As soon as he made contact, my ears twitched slightly, and I chuckled.

Kieraxys giggled, "Whoa! They're so sensitive! They twitched!"

I nodded, "Yeah, my ears are pretty sensitive. It's nice to have someone to share the fun with, though."

Kieraxys grinned mischievously, "I'm glad I get to be the one to test your ear sensitivity, Tharros!"

I playfully swished my tail, "Just be gentle, little brother. I don't want you to tickle my ears too much."

Kieraxys held up his claws, "Don't worry, I'll be gentle! I promise!" He carefully stroked my ears again, and I closed my eyes, enjoying the sensation.

As Kieraxys continued to touch my ears, I started to relax, feeling a sense of calm wash over me. My ears twitched and folded back slightly, and I let out a contented sigh.

Kieraxys giggled at my reaction, "Hehe, you're so ticklish, Tharros!"

I smiled lazily, my eyes still closed, "Shh, just keep stroking, little brother. This is nice."

Kieraxys continued to gently pet my ears, and I felt my tension melt away. It was moments like these that I cherished, enjoying the simple pleasures in life with my siblings.

As we sat there, Mother's voice drifted over, still lecturing Father about his eating habits. But I tuned it out, too relaxed to care, and let Kieraxys's gentle touch lull me into a peaceful state.

Kieraxys gentle scratching my ears and I gently wag my tail.

The gentle scratching sensation sent shivers down my spine, and I couldn't help but wag my tail in appreciation. Kieraxys giggled, "Hehe, you're wagging your tail, Tharros! You're enjoying this, aren't you?"

I smiled, my eyes still closed, "Mmm... yeah. It's nice." My tail wagged slightly more, and I let out a contented sigh, savoring the gentle touch on my sensitive ears.

Pov Kieraxys

I watched Tharros's tail wagging gently back and forth, a sign that he was truly relaxed and enjoying the moment. His eyes were closed, and a soft smile played on his lips. I continued to stroke his wolf-fox like ears, marveling at how sensitive they were.

Tharros's ears twitched and folded back slightly as I scratched a particularly sensitive spot, and he let out a happy sigh. I grinned, feeling happy to be able to make my brother so content.

As I glanced over at our parents, I saw Mother still scolding Father, but Tharros and I were in our own little world, enjoying each other's company. I focused back on Tharros's ears, continuing to pet him and enjoying the special bond we shared.

I giggled he really does look more like a wolf-fox dragon hybrid. "Hey Tharros, do you ever question why you have ears like this? Since you are the only dragon I know who have these kinds of ears."

Pov Tharros

I opened my eyes, looking at Kieraxys with a thoughtful expression. "Yeah, I've wondered about it before. I've always thought maybe it's just a unique trait I inherited. But sometimes I wonder if there's more to it."

I tilted my head, my ears perked up slightly. "Maybe it's a sign of something special about me, or maybe it's just a quirk. Either way, I'm used to it now."

I smiled, "But it's nice to have something that makes me stand out, right?" I chuckled, my tail wagging slightly. "And it's definitely useful for eavesdropping on Mother and Father's conversations."

I sighed. "Or maybe it just a birth defects or in this case, hatch defects!" My wolf-fox like ears twitched slightly again.

Kieraxys burst out laughing at my comment, "Hatch defects? That's a good one, Tharros!"

I chuckled, my ears twitching again, "Hey, it's possible! Maybe I'm just a one-of-a-kind dragon with a few... unique features."

Kieraxys grinned, "Well, I think your unique features are awesome, Tharros. You're still the same awesome big brother to me."

I smiled, feeling a warmth in my heart, "Thanks, little brother. That means a lot coming from you."

I smiled. "I don't think my ears look weird. I think it made me cute after all. Father did say often of how cute and adorable I am and many other dragons when we both went to the Starlight Gathering. Many of them said I looked cute and adorable, and they surrounded me and my father while I was hiding under his wings!" I blushed in embarrassment.

Kieraxys laughed, "Haha, I can imagine! You were probably the star of the show, Tharros!"

I chuckled, feeling my blush deepen, "Yeah, it was a bit overwhelming. But Father just laughed and said I was the most adorable dragon he'd ever seen."

Kieraxys teased, "Aww, you're such a mama's boy... I mean, papa's boy!"

I playfully swatted at Kieraxys, "Hey, watch it! I'm not that bad!" My ears folded back slightly in embarrassment, but I couldn't help smiling.

My ears twitching slightly "ha my ears sometimes twitching a bit, but most of the time I ignored it!" I said and sighed.

Kieraxys giggled, "I noticed that! Your ears are so expressive, Tharros. They're like little mood indicators."

I smiled wryly, "Yeah, I guess they are. I've just gotten used to them twitching and moving on their own, but it's nice to have someone notice the little things about me."

Kieraxys reached out and gently stroked my ears again, "I like noticing the little things about you, Tharros. You're my awesome big brother, after all."

I giggled. "They have been, you know, showing my emotions when I feel saddest and disappointed and another negative emotions and feelings they do in fact folded back or down or front."

Kieraxys nodded, "Yeah, I've noticed that! When you're feeling down, your ears tend to fold back or down. It's like they're trying to hide or protect themselves."

I nodded, "Exactly! And it's not just sadness, it's like they're attuned to my emotions. When I'm happy or excited, they perk up, and when I'm feeling down, they fold back."

Kieraxys smiled, "It's like they're a part of your emotional language, Tharros. They're so expressive and tell a lot about how you're feeling."

I chuckled "Yeah I make it easy that others can see how I feel, and I can't even hide it no matter how hard I try!"

Kieraxys laughed, "That's what makes you so lovable, Tharros! You're like an open book, and your ears are the most honest part of you."

I playfully rolled my eyes, "Great, so now I'm a walking emotional billboard, huh?"

Kieraxys grinned, "Hey, it's a good thing! We can always tell how you're feeling, and it makes it easier to know how to react around you."

My ears perked up slightly, hearing mother still scolding at father for his eating habits. "Aetherius, seriously, you need to control your eating habits. You keep overeating yourself to the point that it hurts your belly and stomach a lot!"

Father seems a bit upset. "I know, but I can't help it!" He welling.

I exchanged a knowing look with Kieraxys, and we both suppressed a giggle. It was a familiar scene, with Mother trying to reign in Father's eating habits.

Kieraxys leaned in, whispering, "I think Father's weakness for food is going to be the death of him... or at least Mother's patience."

I chuckled quietly, trying not to draw attention to ourselves. Our parents' dynamic was entertaining, to say the least.

As we watched, Father looked up at Mother with pleading eyes, "I promise I'll try, Thyriatrix. But it's just so hard when everything tastes so good!" Mother sighed, shaking her head, "Aetherius, you're a dragon, not a bottomless pit. You need to learn to control your appetites."

Kieraxys and I shared another look, and I could see the amusement in his eyes. We both knew that Father's love for food was a never-ending battle.

With a final stern look, Mother turned and walked away, leaving Father to look longingly at the food still spread out on the table. Kieraxys whispered, "I think Father's going to sneak some more food when Mother's not looking." I grinned, "I'm sure of it."

And with that, Kieraxys and I settled back into our quiet amusement, enjoying the familiar dynamic between our parents.
