Chapter 218 - Follow and the Origin of Little Lugia

Rope, Whitley, and Sabrina watched Lugia's actions, slightly puzzled, but soon Rope realized what Lugia was doing.

He wasn't giving Snivy his own "blessing", Snivy was absorbing the energy that Rope had released, and the power of a god's essence was something much more precious than "blessing".

But to Rope, it was nothing. After all, his power was still growing. After all, his power is still growing, so this little loss of Origin is nothing. After all, even if Snivy hadn't absorbed the energy, it would have naturally dissipated.

Lugia was really "blessing" Snivy at that moment.

The ability of "blessing" is also very precious to gods, after all, the number of times a god can bless is also limited.

Thus Snivy was once again enveloped in dazzling white light, which incidentally enveloped Whitley as well.

Two blessings.

"Thank you for your generosity." Rope said seriously after taking a moment to look back.

Sabrina still didn't know what had happened, but from what Rope said and the look on his face, Lugia really didn't mean any harm this time.

Lugia shook her head and smiled, "There's no need to be polite, Lord Arceus has already informed all of our gods of your existence."

Rope hadn't expected this, he had thought that Arceus wouldn't make a big deal about the birth of a new god.

Lugia, as if she had read Rope's thoughts, smiled and said, "Naturally, Lord Arceus would not ignore such a big event. After all, you are the only newly born god since the ancient times."

Rope raised an eyebrow, recalling that it seemed to be true. There were foreign gods, and there were native gods, but a new native birth, Rope was really the only one in Scorpion Poop.

"And this blessing is also because I have something to ask."

Lugia said with a smile.

"Please say, as long as I can do it, I will do my best."

Rope said seriously.

This wasn't a polite remark either. blessing something like this was a precious thing in itself. It could even be said to be something that could turn decay into magic.

When Ho-Oh resurrected Three Beasts back in the day, he relied on blessing.

And in Mount Tensei later on, the one who resurrected Ash also used blessing.

As for how many times a god could actually use blessing... Rope wasn't quite sure.

After all, he was still growing, and he was also a newborn god. His "blessing" had not fully awakened.

"As you can see, I'm cruising with my children."

Lugia gently but somewhat helplessly looked at little Lugia, who was flying about in the air.

"But the parade was not my intention. I was awakened by Hoopa and participated in that great battle. Although I wasn't injured, the energy consumption was still great."

"More to the point, I've seen these scenes many times before. Because I usually spend long hours in slumber."

Lugia's eyes showed a hint of favor.

"But this little one is still young, and he longs to travel to new places and see new things."

"But he is not strong enough to defend himself. But handing it over to some human I'm worried that I'll look at the wrong person and then harm the little one."

At this point, Lugia looked over at Rope, "Good thing I ran into you this time. With Lord Arceus' approval I don't have to worry about anything going wrong."

"I hope you can help me take care of the little one, is that okay?"

Lugia's eyes held a sense of hope and supplication.

Rope was silent for a short while, then said, "I'm willing to take the little one on a trip. But my ability is actually a bit strange. If the little one enters the Pokéball afterward, I haven't tried to see if a Pokémon that enters the Pokéball can be detached from the effects of my ability."

Rope looked up at Lugia and said, "So if the little one travels with me, it will be just as solid."

"But I should be able to protect the little one. But to avoid anything else. I'd like you to give me a way to contact you so that if anything goes wrong, you'll be able to get there in time."

Rope expressed his thoughts in a roundabout and polite way.

In truth, he just wanted a Silver Feather.

As for why...it's probably because of his collecting hobby... and with Lugia's support, not to mention anything else, if he were to run into any unavoidable danger, at least Lugia would be able to help him protect him. At least Lugia could help him protect the others.

Lugia was still quite panicked while listening to Rope's previous words. After all, what Rope had said earlier didn't sound like something she was going to agree to.

She was just trying to get a good night's sleep, but this little guy was always messing around and was getting worse and worse to control.

Thinking about it, it would be better to block it rather than let the little guy keep messing around and have someone take him to see other places to see other things.

After all, Lugia felt that this little guy would definitely give himself a big deal if he was pressed like this all the time.

So a little later, after Rope finally agreed, Lugia also let out a sigh of relief, then smiled and said, "No problem!"

Then shaking her wings, a silver-colored feather fell down from above.

Lugia used psychic power to drag the feather, and then handed the feather that shone with faint sunlight to Rope's face.

"This is Silver Feather, Rope, you can use this feather to contact me. I'll be at your place in no time."

Rope took the feather then smiled, "I'll be in touch if anything happens."

Lugia nodded then directly grabbed the little one playing on the side with her mind power.

Then the two Lugia were communicating with each other while looking at Rope from time to time.

Rope didn't have the ability or interest to listen to people's conversations, and neither did Sabrina, or rather, Sabrina wouldn't casually listen to someone else's mind if she didn't have to. After all, people weren't enemies.

And at this moment, the white light on Whitley and Snivy's bodies also began to gradually dissipate, and eventually, as Rope and Sabrina watched, the white light on this person and snake converged.

Snivy's body once again had more silver-colored ripples in addition to the texture of flames. Because Snivy itself was a shimmering turquoise color, it was already special, and now that it had both textures on its body, it was even more unique.

Whitley, on the other hand, hadn't changed much on her body, except that her face appeared more flushed.

And in Rope and Sabrina's perception, the waveguide on Whitley's body had strengthened by a large margin, and the fluctuation of psychic power was also emanating around her body.

It looked like Whitley was also no longer an ordinary human after receiving blessing, but became psychic or even still a waveguide messenger.

"You'll have to consider Pokémon that can utilize waveguide when you prepare the next Pokémon for Whitley, after all, this girl's waveguide, now, has far surpassed that of an ordinary human to the extent that it can be utilized."

Sabrina looked at Whitley and whispered to Rope.

"That's what I think too..." said Rope, nodding rather approvingly, "But it still depends on this girl's own thoughts. I can't force her either."

Sabrina nodded rather approvingly then said, "Indeed, it would be detrimental to both parties if they really chose the Pokémon that is not to their liking."

"What are you two muttering about?"

Whitley asked as his ears twitched, then opened his mouth.

Rope raised an eyebrow. The sound between him and Sabrina was muffled low enough that Whitley shouldn't have been able to hear it by all rights.

"Nothing, just wondering what bias your next Pokémon should choose for you."

Whitley nodded at Rope's words and didn't say anything, after all, if Rope prepared a Pokémon for her, she would definitely discuss it with herself in the end, including this Snivy, which was actually Whitley's choice after consulting her opinion.

Whitley thought of Snivy and then felt her hair being pulled.Whitley looked back at Snivy over her shoulder and realized that Snivy had her head hung low and looked like she was trying to sleep.

She glanced at Rope with slight trepidation and Rope smiled at her signaling her relief.

"Just too much energy built up in the middle of the day. The little one did get lucky. The God of the Sea's Blessing is something I've never really heard of any Pokémon being able to obtain."

Saying that, Rope glanced at Whitley again and said, "Your luck is also good."

Whitley nodded in relief, then smiled as he took Snivy back into his Pokéball.

"Come back Snivy, get some rest."

"Tou-Tou~ (Good~)"

The Pokéball released a red light, then took Snivy back.

"Is this okay?"

Whitley looked at the large and small Lugia that were also whispering over there, then said.

"It's fine, it's just that I took a job coaxing a child."

Rope said with a shrug.

But to be honest he actually had quite the headache of coaxing children. But with Whitley by his side after all, and with a number of little ones in the group itself, one goat was just as good as herding, and a flock was just as good as herding.

No difference.

Whitley nodded, and then a pink glow lit up in her eyes.

She glanced at Sabrina and felt a pain in her eyes, but it was bearable. Then glanced at Rope again and instantly felt a stinging sensation. She covered her eyes in a hurry.

Looking at Whitley, who sucked in a breath of cold air in pain, Sabrina shook her head gently, while Rope gloated and smiled.

"The, coming to spy on me without saying hello, you have a lot of guts."

"Rope why is the light so bright on you guys??"

Rope rolled his eyes and said, "I'm at least a god now, if I'm being spied on casually isn't it too undignified for a god?"

Whitley restrained the psychic power glow in his eyes, then rolled his eyes at him.

"It's kind of the first lesson for you. Don't just go around underestimating the people around you after you've gained some powers of your own. They're probably far stronger than you think."

Rope laughed as he walked up and stroked Whitley's head.

While the three were laughing and joking, Lugia, the size of Lugia on the other side of the room, had finished whispering.

"Rope!" said Lugia's voice once again in the back of Rope's mind.

Lugia pushed the small Lugia beside her forward then said, "This little guy is all yours. If he doesn't listen you just beat him up, no need to give me face."

Rope's eyes popped out of the corner of his eyes when he heard this.

This was so familiar, his parents said the same thing when he was sent to school back then. Back then, if you were naughty and got beaten by a teacher, the parents would just think that the teacher didn't hit you hard enough.

Usually they would take it upon themselves to give another beating.

"Alright, if you say so, I'll take it seriously..."

With that said, Rope's eyes changed a bit as he looked at Little Lugia. Little Lugia instinctively felt a twinge of discomfort, but he persisted in meeting Rope's eyes.

Rope nodded in satisfaction.

"Alright, in that case I won't interfere too much, the Pokémon are still waiting down there, I'll continue to finish the parade and then I'll go back to my slumber, if you have any problems you can just contact me directly with Silver Feather."

With that, Lugia was about to wave her wings then leave.

"Wait..."

Rope buckled again and stopped Lugia.

"Anything else?"

Lugia asked as she looked at Rope suspiciously.

"Which...is, just, wanted to ask, is little Lugia's other parent?"

Rope asked this being a little embarrassed, like he was prying into someone's privacy.

"He doesn't have a parent..."

Lugia's words were flat, like there was no emotion in them. Like Rope had asked something she shouldn't have.

"Er..."

Rope was momentarily stumped for words...

Lugia knew that Rope had misunderstood when she looked at Rope's reaction, and opened her mouth to explain, "This little guy is me."

"It's you?"

Rope was even more puzzled.

"It's me from another world. That world's me ushered in the end of the world when I was still young, and by mistake the little one came to me."

After Lugia opened her mouth to explain, Rope sort of understood.

"It's the you of the parallel world. Only in this parallel world, you're still a little guy..."

"There are also some differences. For example, although I don't have a gender, I'm actually on the female side of you humans. And this little guy is closer to your human male."

[Still a sex change... pretty foreign anon...]

Rope couldn't help but spit out.

He had actually wondered about it a long time ago. After all, as far as he could remember, Lugia was unique in all the Pokémon proper. And it was true that it was genderless itself, with no swarms found.

So where did little Lugia come from?

Now the answer has finally come.

"Are there a lot of worlds that shatter away like that?"

Rope frowned then opened his mouth to ask.

Lugia shook her head and said, "I'm not sure, or all of us Legendary Pokémon aren't very clear. Only Lord Arceus knows about this aspect, and Lord Arceus generally doesn't talk to us about it. He doesn't always answer when we ask."

Looks like it's not necessarily, but definitely not answering...

Rope mentally spat.

"Okay, I know, I'll ask Arceus later."

"Eh, if there's nothing else, I'll leave now, and you guys will be traveling to your next destination as well."

"Goodbye."

"Goodbye."

After exchanging goodbyes, Lugia lifted her wings, then flew off the deck. With a jerk, she plunged into the middle of the seawater...
