After the commotion, the sun had already set.
Tian Lin returned to the tavern, and the waiter, upon seeing Tian Lin, broke out in a cold sweat: "Has the Immortal Master returned for his horse?"
Tian Lin shook his head and asked him, "Why are you calling me an Immortal Master out of the blue?"
The waiter was surprised: "Wasn't it the Immortal Master who just had that face-off downstairs?"
"You must have seen wrong," Tian Lin said casually, then asked again, "Is the private room I had earlier still available?"
The waiter quickly nodded but, after a thought, said, "For the private room, about that silver—"
With just a glance from Tian Lin, the waiter turned and went upstairs, saying only, "Deduct it from the deposit I paid during the day."
Only after hearing Tian Lin speak so easily did the waiter confirm that Tian Lin couldn't possibly be an Immortal Master.
