Juyong Pass, a famous pass along the Great Wall, one of the nine key passes in the world. Below it lies a giant ravine, the terrain is dangerous and strategic, a must-contest area for the Military School.
In its center, there is a base of a "Street Tower" called the Cloud Platform, named for its "view as if amidst the clouds."
Now, atop this Cloud Platform, stand two figures, ethereally poised.
These two individuals are naturally Shangguan Changhong and Xuanwu.
Xuanwu is a capable general under War God Li Lingtian, who often provides guidance in his cultivation, so although they do not have the official title of master and disciple, they share such a bond.
This is also why his relationship with Shangguan Changhong is particularly good.
Whenever Shangguan Changhong encounters troublesome issues, Xuanwu doesn't hesitate to rush over and help.
