Dante suddenly grabbed the pen and began to scribble something down on the paper as the others watched over him. He finally put the pen down and took the back as he turned to the others with the same toothy grin they've seen multiple times before. Terra and Xavien could do nothing but smile after seeing his confidence finally rearing its head again.
"Well, we will be going now. Thanks for everything Mr. Grant!"
"Thanks for everything. We'll make sure he gets there safely."
Grant let out a sigh as he watched the three walk out of his office in a hurry. He didn't know what would come of the new kid in town, but he was hopeful to see if his hitch on him was correct. He leaned back in his chair and put his arms behind his head, letting out a deep sigh.
"Let's see what you can do, kid."

Three weeks had passed since the talk and discussion of making sure Dante could get fully accepted into the academy. The three went through the provision of getting his application accepted by the academy. During the time, Dante stayed with Xavien who had a room outside of the academy, as he'd decided it'd be best for himself to stay in his own place rather than a dorm. Though the homestaying would end as the new semester would be beginning the next day.
Dante found himself walking around town more often, trying to get more accustomed to the routes to take. Not only to the academy, but the different shops and places he could possibly go. He'd become more acquainted with the shopkeepers, especially after being endorsed by Grant Holdensburg himself.
They'd often try giving him words of encouragement since it was his first time attending a real school, and he asked for advice on how to interact with the other students since he was new from out of town. He thought speaking to the elders of the town would help him out as it did before in the village. Sure enough that seemed to be the case since they all seemed to grow a liking to him. After a long day of walking, he'd continue his sword training in a fielded area in the kingdom.
It was a small area, seemingly reserved where the local guards would practice from time to time. Though as he scoped the area out pretty often during his walks, he figured the times they'd come around to actually do something useful.
He'd scope the area until they left around sunset every day to get his routine in, since in the kingdom, there wasn't a designated spot to train his swordsmanship. He wasn't too sure there were many in the academy anyways, due to seeing most of the students carrying a wand, similar to Terra and Xaviens. Though he noticed they'd constantly have different designs depending on the user.
