"So we're going home now?"
"If that's what you want. But we can go anywhere, do anything. Just say it."
She paused, her fingers holding her chin. I let her think, watching her with a bright smile on her face.
She was different from before. Her shy self was gone like it was just a human thing that she discarded. I did miss it. The times when she would be too shy to speak or act, running away instead. But this new bold and daring Diamond would be an adventure, one that I was very willing to take.
"A trip to Paris to tour the Louvre museum? A vacation in Spain, dancing to music in Barcelona? You want to watch the Northern Lights? I'll take you there. Finland, Iceland, Sweden, Greenland, Norway."
I didn't stop there. I was ready to go all in, not holding anything back. Anything she wanted, wherever she wanted to go, whatever she wanted to do, I was down.
