"So, these are the ones considered among the strongest, right?" Midnight asked, rising to her feet as she gazed down at the battlefield. "I presume you want Eldros and me to support you while—"
"No," Zaroth cut her off.
With a silent gesture, he pointed with his odachi to the countless soldiers below, getting ready to deliver a devastating amount of arrows.
"You two are here to eliminate them. Both of you excel in large-scale combat. I'll deal with the bigger threat."
Midnight glanced at him briefly. Even from afar, she was able to feel how strong those council members were, and yet her boyfriend wanted to take them on alone?
'I really do have a thing for insane men,' she mused, then took Eldros' hand and leapt from Luna's back.
"What the hell are you doing?!" Eldros shouted, pure panic as he entered free fall.
"Stop acting like a wuss," Midnight hissed, black wings growing out of her back, slowing down their descent.
The two had begun to engage the Crimson Sun army.
