Reverend Insanity World
Fang Yuan was just a regular guy—an ordinary student from Earth—who ended up being reborn in the Gu world. Like many others who transmigrated into the Gu world, they were called "otherworldly demons."
These people came from different worlds, and they all shared one thing in common: their souls weren't bound by this world's chains, which gave them a bit of freedom from fate. But even so, they couldn't escape it same like destiny, luck, and death.
Fang Yuan was one of these otherworldly demons. At first, he had a kind heart. But after living for 500 years, he learned the hard way that being kind only gets you killed.
Emotions, whether good or bad, would only hold him back. Over time, the kind kid turned into an emotionless monster, ready to do whatever it took to reach his goal. And that goal? Eternal life—not just long life, but true immortality where he couldn't die or even get hurt.
The problem? He didn't have what it took to achieve that dream. Even becoming a Rank 6 immortal was insanely difficult for him. But giving up wasn't in his nature. Fang Yuan's willpower was so strong it became the driving force behind his ambition.
As he tried to refine an immortal Gu to make himself stronger, trouble started brewing. The other immortals didn't want him to succeed. After all, if Fang Yuan got stronger, it would shift the balance of power, messing up their benefits. So, they planned to kill him and steal the Gu if he succeeded.
But little anyone know, there was an even bigger force pulling the strings—controlling both Fang Yuan and his enemies.
With all paths blocked and death closing in, Fang Yuan made a desperate move. He used the Spring Autumn Cicada, an immortal Gu, to send his memories and will back to his past self for a second chance at life.
The Spring Autumn Cicada could basically rewind time for him, letting him be "reborn" into the past with all his knowledge of the future. But there was a catch: to activate it, he had to self-detonate. And even then, the chance of success was less than 10%.
Against all odds, Fang Yuan succeeded. He went back 500 years into the past, but after a few years, he was about to die again. Somehow, the Spring Autumn Cicada worked perfectly, and Fang Yuan got his second chance.
But fate wasn't about to make things easy for him. Once again, he found himself facing obstacles, and the same dangerous situation that would force him to use the Gu for the third time.

Southern Border, San Cha Mountain, Bronze Hall
Fang Yuan was trapped, bound tightly by chains.
"Hehehe, Fang Yuan, we meet again," Tie Ruo Nan said, laughing loudly as she stood before him.
Bai Ning Bing sighed and shook her head. "It's over, Fang Yuan. I secretly planted the Fixed Star Gu in your left arm. With this Gu, we can track you no matter where you go—even if you escape to the ends of the earth. You're done. Just admit it."
"What?" Fang Yuan looked down, noticing a strange Gu worm embedded in his left arm.
This Gu was no ordinary thing—it was a star fragment from the immemorial era. Its eight-sided crystal form sparkled, glowing faintly with eerie blue starlight that made his entire forearm shine in an unsettling way.
"Bai Ning Bing!" Fang Yuan roared, struggling against the chains, causing them to rattle loudly.
"Fixed Star Gu… how impressive. Bai Ning Bing, you've really outdone yourself!" Fang Yuan glared at her, his teeth grinding in frustration.
Tie Ruo Nan smirked and added, "Fang Yuan, there's no escaping this. The Infinite Search and Lock has you marked. Your Gu worms are sealed, your primeval essence is useless, and you've got no hope left. Just surrender quietly."
Fang Yuan hung his head, silent.
In his heart, he sighed. Things looked grim, but his dazed expression slowly turned sharp, his eyes burning with determination.
It wasn't over yet.
He still had one last card to play—Spring Autumn Cicada.
The Infinite Search and Lock might seal rank five Gu, but it couldn't stop a rank six Immortal Gu!
Fang Yuan lifted his head, taking one final look at Bai Ning Bing, Tie Ruo Nan, and the others. There was no point in talking anymore. If he succeeded, there would be hope. If he failed, there was nothing left to say.
"Why is he so calm?" Bai Ning Bing and Tie Ruo Nan exchanged uneasy glances. Something wasn't right.
Then, boom!
Fang Yuan self-detonated!
In an instant, the Spring Autumn Cicada exploded with two lights—green and orange—spreading a mystical, almost otherworldly aura.
Everything Fang Yuan had—his Gu worms, his primeval essence, his body, even his soul—was destroyed in the blast.

Floating in the River of Time, Fang Yuan realized his gamble had worked for the third time. He was nothing more than will and memories now, but he had done it.
After some time, he had finally returned to the past to change his fate again.
But just as relief began to wash over him, he felt a sudden invasion creeping into his soul.
"What…?" Fang Yuan's shock was palpable. Something was wrong—this wasn't how it was supposed to go.
But his willpower, honed over centuries of hardship, wouldn't let him give up. Even as his soul was under attack, Fang Yuan started searching for a way to fight back or survive this situation.
Fang Yuan never gave up.
