The next day, Adonis along with Booka G were called to the head office of WWL in Stamford, Connecticut. It didn't take along until they had a meeting with Victor McNeil, his daughter, son and Son-in-law.
"Adonis, Booka. Glad you can make it. Have a seet." McNeil stated.
The two men set in the boarding room and waited for what comes next.
"I don't know how to easily say this. But I'll get straight to the point. Adonis, you're officially stripped of those two title starting tomorrow." Said Victor in a cold manner
"What?" Adonis said back in response
"Look, this going back and fourth thing you got isn't working out for us all. You're a raising star in NCT as well as the face of WSA. However, what happens when you're scheduled to have three matches in one week? You're gonna burn out, kid. We're only doing this for your benefit." Said 3xH
"We had a deal."
"We know, kid. But we talked with Book and he agrees." Said Josephine.
Adonis looks at Book with a hint of Betrayal on his face. "You knew about this?" He said looking at Book.
"Look, kid. You deserve to let your wings fly, amd I feel like you staying I'm WSA longer is just a burden to you. You're a big star fir that place, hack if you continue being there I'm affraid you'll do more hark than good. It's evident that no one can win those titles from you in WSA. So it's only gonna be a matter of time before you burn everyone else and the show becomes "predictable" to the audience. Once that happens, we might have to let go of some wrestlers just as the cash flow won't be coming in no more. This is a business move, not a personal one." Said Book
"Look, Adonis. I get that you want to help Booka since he's the one who believed in you when no one else did. So we decided that we will in a partnership with WSA. We're launching a new show called "WWL: ID" it's soul purpose will be monitoring the WSA that way we can develop, mentor and shape the wrestlers of that promotion into our Ideal wrestlers, should they make the cut we will even sign them. With this we can guarantee that atleast 3/10 in the roster will get signed. This is better than just letting them not show their talent on a bigger scale....don't you think so?" Said 3xH looking over at Adonis.
Adonis makes a big sigh before finally agreeing to the McNeil family offer. "Fine, I'll do it. But, doesn't it downgrade the prestige of these titles if I just dropped them like that? "
"Well, it's fine. We've already came up with a solution to that. In the pre-main event tomorrow, the X-division championship will be put on the line in a fatal 5 way match. And in the main event tomorrow, the NCT championship will be on the line in a leader match, the participants of both matches will be former champions who once held those titles." Said Booka G
The meeting continued and when it was over, The McNeil family decided to walk both Adonis and Booka G out of the building. However, when approaching the entrance, Adonis ran into a familiar face.
"Kon'nichiwa, Adonis -Kun." Said the Half Japanese girl as she sees Adonis.
"Kon'nichiwa, Akira-San." Adonis returned with a smile.
"You two already met each other?" Said Victor
"Yes, we actually did the advertisement for Audi together last week. Anyway, what brings you here, Akira ?"
"Akira, I'm here for my Contract negotiations with WWL." She said pointing at the big WWL sign at the top of the building. Victor's eyes widened in surprise. "No way, Akira! You're considering joining WWL? That's fantastic news!" He exclaimed, clearly thrilled at the prospect of signing a talented Japan Strong Style wrestler.
Adonis, however, seemed to be enjoying a private joke, a knowing glint in his eye. "So, you couldn't resist my charm at the end? don't blame you."
Akira's face remained neutral, but a faint blush rose to her cheeks. "Adonis-Kun was very persuasive, Victor-San," she said, her voice measured. "But I must admit, I'm still weighing my options. The contract negotiations will be crucial in making my final decision. But, WWL does sound like a new challenge that i want to conquer."
Victor nodded enthusiastically. "I completely understand, Akira. We'll make sure to give you a warm welcome and a competitive offer."
As Victor led Akira towards the elevators, Adonis fell back, his eyes never leaving Akira's back. A small, enigmatic smile played on his lips.
Later that day, Adonis headed back to apartment. After a long 2hour flight he was finally back home. The day went by quickly as he was busy packing his stuff away and getting ready for the big move.
The following day, he opened the show to a huge pop from the crowed.
[The camera pans to the ring, where Adonis Tyson stands, his eyes scanning the crowd with a mix of sadness and determination. The audience is on their feet, a chorus of applause and cheers filling the air as Adonis raises the microphone to his lips.]
Adonis: [pausing for a moment, taking a deep breath] Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come. Today, I stand before you, not as your champion, but as a man who must make a difficult decision. [pauses for dramatic effect] Effective immediately, I am forced to vacate the WSA X-X-Division and World Heavyweight titles.
[The crowd erupts into a mixture of shock, disappointment, and applause, with some fans chanting "No! No! No!"]
Adonis raising his hands to quiet the crowd "I know, I know. It's not the way I wanted it to end. But sometimes, life takes us down paths we don't want to take. And for me, that path leads to a new chapter". pauses, looking down, his voice filled with emotion "A chapter that starts with the end of this one."
The crowd falls silent, hanging on Adonis' every word
Adonis looking up, his eyes locking onto the audience. "I want to thank each and every one of you for your love and support. You've been with me every step of the way, through the highs and lows, and I'll never forget that. [pauses, his voice cracking with emotion] But it's time for me to move on. And I hate that it has to start with killing off the work I've done here."
The crowd begins to applaud again, this time with a sense of understanding and respect. Adonis smiling wistfully.
" i know I'll always be remembered as a champion, but it's not just about the titles. It's about the moments we shared, the memories we created, and the love we showed each other. [pauses, looking around the arena one last time] So, as I stand here today, saying goodbye to this chapter of my life, I want you all to know that I'll carry you with me, always."
"I've tried my best to cheat the system and work for two companies at once but it looks like this was as far as my lack takes me. Once again, thank you. There wouldn't be a "Upgrade of professional wrestling" without you guys. I'm thankful for all you've done for me." Adonis leaves the mic and titles at the middle of the ring and his music starts playing. And just like that, a chapter in WSA has been closed.
