"Got you!" the Yuma exclaimed.
"Ah!" Sei gasped, caught off guard.
The Yuma unleashed a powerful aura, striking Sei with a forceful punch that she quickly raised her arms to block.
Despite her efforts, the impact was strong enough to send her tumbling backward, causing her to lose her balance and fall from the tree where she had confidently stood moments before.
But she didn't fall; a flying type caught her and carried her away on its wings. However, she did not plummet to the ground as one might expect; instead, a creature of the flying type swooped down just in time to catch her and fly away.
''Arh!,'' Sei exclaims and takes a deep breath.
The flying-type Yuma gently sets Sei down near the ancient shrine, a location steeped in mystery and legend, just moments before the ogre-type Yuma enters. This timing suggests that the flying-type Yuma was indeed the first to arrive at this eerie destination.
As Sei takes in her surroundings, her gaze shifts to a noticeable and painful deep cut on her hand, a mark left by the sharp claws of the creature.
She winces slightly at the stinging sensation, allowing herself a brief moment to examine the wound more closely. After a few seconds of contemplation, she returns her gaze to the imposing figure of the Yuma standing before her.
"Is this an academic exam?" she softly murmurs to herself, still captivated by the sight of the Yuma, trying to make sense of the unusual and surreal situation she finds herself in.
"Ahahaha! Welcome to the demon shrine!" the flying-type Yuma exclaims with a carefree laughter, showing no sign of concern for the unfolding events, as if this was all part of a lighthearted encounter in a game rather than a serious confrontation.
"As it feels like hell, just as Senpai mentioned earlier,"
Sei raised her voice, almost as if she were addressing the flying-type Yuma. A broad grin spread across her face in response to the conversation, as if she reveled in the chaotic energy surrounding her.
You might wonder why it's referred to as hell. When you stand near the shrine, you will notice there are two distinct paths to choose from.
One path is engulfed in flames, with fire licking at the edges and radiating intense heat. The other path is cloaked in a dark aura, imbued with an ominous presence that sends a shiver down your spine
"But... there's more," Sei said, glancing sideways at the expansive sky overhead, a sly smile playing on her lips.
"Woah, I see you brought your friends with you!" She raised her right eyebrow slightly, a gesture that conveyed both surprise and delight.
The sky was alive with the presence of five or six impressive first-ranked flying-type Yuma, their powerful wings beating against the air as they soared gracefully through the blue expanse.
"Black," she called, her voice a blend of anticipation and urgency.
With a shimmering ripple in the air, Black, the water guardian, materialized beside Sei, his presence like a sudden splash in a still pond. His eyes, deep and swirling like ocean depths, locked onto her with a curious intensity.
"It seems you've won the lucky prize, Sei!" he said casually, despite the highly dangerous object looming before them.
"Is that truly your concern?" Sei asked, raising an eyebrow with a mix of curiosity and confusion. He couldn't quite understand what his companion was getting at.
"Haha, my apologies! You seem to be in a bad mood right now," he chuckled lightly, trying to lighten the atmosphere. However, he quickly shifted his demeanor, adopting a serious expression that indicated a significant change was about to happen.
"Alright, here I go." In an instant, he transformed into a beautifully crafted katana, featuring a sleek black blade that shimmered with an almost otherworldly elegance, all while being enveloped by a mesmerizing blue aura that radiated from the surrounding water magic.
Sei holds a katana and then looks at the sky, and gets a confused look on her face.
''It seems like they are happy in flying around like this, I think I can continue talking with Black.''
''Neither... I will slay them all in one move.''
Sei steps forward confidently, embodying her warrior spirit, and carefully draws her katana from its sword sheath, the sound of the blade sliding free echoing through the air. With a determined glint in her eyes, she prepares for the battle ahead.
''Slash Wave!'' she exclaims as she swings her katana high into the sky, targeting the flying-type Yuma that are soaring above her.
The force of her powerful water slash cleaves through the air, sending a strong current upward, disrupting the serene sky where the Yuma are circling. Waves of energy ripple around her as her blue aura flows fluidly, illuminating her figure as she stands ready to confront her aerial foes.
But as she fought, the more than surprising speed and agility of her opponents allowed them to expertly dodge her attack and propel themselves forward towards her with an overwhelming display of strength.
Sei, quick on her feet, managed to evade their incoming assault, and with a fierce determination, she swung her katana once more with precision, and this time, the blade connected, slicing through one of the attackers, leaving a mark of her skill.
Sei took a deep breath, inhaling slowly and deeply, as she concentrated on her breathing to help her calm her mind and body.
She focused her attention on the rhythm of her breath, using it as a tool to control the flow of her aura within her, allowing her to harness and stabilize her energy effectively.
''You could be us.'' One of them talks to Sei,
''Hah, Even I am, So what?'' Sei slyly smiled her face and raised her eyebrow.
''I still want to know why the lord wanted you.''
All of them descend from the air and make their way down to the ground, where they engage in conversation with Sei. Meanwhile, as they talk, six of them encircle her.
''Took her to the lord,''
