Avery finished her final exams. As soon as she left the school building, she saw Alexander sitting in his car, wearing sunglasses.
Avery raised her hand to cover her mouth and giggled as she jogged over. She asked him through the car window, "When did you get back?"
Alexander took off his sunglasses. "I just arrived in Valemont City this morning and stayed at home for the entire afternoon. Then, I came over to see you and wanted to treat you to a meal. I also wanted to tell you about something good that happened at my house." He paused slightly and said regretfully, "I also want to celebrate your 19th birthday with you."
"Oh." Avery replied and waved her hand nonchalantly. "It's fine. Actually, I don't celebrate birthdays very often. You were kind to remember, and that's enough."
