The sudden insult made Rocco's face flush red with indignation.
Since his arms were still bound, he resorted to kicking his feet in protest, flailing in place to physically express his anger.
But Ares didn't so much as flinch.
Without hesitation, he climbed onto the bed.
"Hey! What the heck?! You can't just jump onto someone else's bed! That's also rude!"
Completely ignoring Rocco's complaints, Ares settled himself down and peered at him with a piercing gaze.

His voice was low, almost dangerous.
"Have you uncovered the truth about my connection with the Don Ferocelli?"
That sudden shift in tone sent a chill down Rocco's spine.
