"I am not staying here. I am the queen," Vivienne reminded Darius.
He could not just rid her of her title like this.
"You are the queen until I find another to replace you, which shouldn't take long. Getting your father on my side was a bit of a struggle, but I am willing to give him what he wants. Your father doesn't like how rebellious you have become," Darius said.
Darius wasn't the only one who wasn't happy to hear Vivienne wanted other men by her side. It was the first time he held a conversation with Victor where they wanted the same thing.
"Your father isn't going to come to get you, and I've struck a deal with him not to tell the others of your state for now. Your father will be awarded a good position in the court for now," Darius shared.
Darius wasn't planning to keep his deal with Victor for long since a member of Vivienne's family was eyeing the throne. He couldn't trust anyone.
