Nick watched the empty space in front of him, tongue-tied.
'What the hell just happened? One minute, his body was possessed by the soul of his past self, and the next minute, a beautiful man with a fearsome-looking dog appeared and disappeared in front of him,' he felt as if he was hallucinating.
"Your Highness, Amirion has arrived with the imperial physician. Do we have your permission to come in?" Amirion announced.
Nick broke out of his reverie and hurriedly called in the physician.
"What took so long? Hurry and check on her," Nick said, it was now that he realized how dire her situation seemed.
Her face looked pale, and her eyes looked slightly puffy with dried-up tear stains at the side of her eyes, showing she had cried.
The imperial physician immediately began to check on the unconscious princess consort as soon as he entered the chambers.
